What I Believe

I gained a new fan recently by the name of Steve and he’s been making his way through my books, and ….well I go over a lot of topics to put it mildly. Some of which he’s never heard before and truly I never had for some of them either, until I was led by the Holy Spirit to write them. The saying of, ‘For such a time as this’, definitely applies to me. I was given for just such a time as this. To some that may seem an arrogant statement, but truly you don’t know me as I am a humble and meek minded man. I didn’t ever picture myself as someone that God could do much of anything with and if anything is true in this world it is without fail the Word of God and truly He uses the weak things to confound the wise. So, yes, I was put into this world for such a time as this. What time is it? Well truly I believe that it is within the countdown of the end of ‘time’ itself. Hallelujah is what I say! That said now more than ever it is important to state what I, as a believing in Jesus, as the Messiah, man must hold the position in the battle I’ve been given by way of my own choice to take part in the battle of truly the epic saga of good vs evil. It is in this time of great trial and tribulation that we rise up and bare our teeth at the wolves that seek to see us tattered and torn and make our case for why it shall never be and the only way to do that is through the authority that we, who believe in Jesus, and walk under the anointing of His perfect blood that was shed for us can succeed against all the power of the enemy that is arrayed against us. Though we die daily we do not die spiritually, but we only burn brighter, until that day of perfect revealing, when all the hidden things are made known. Until that day we who believe have to say all the louder what exactly it is that we believe! Truly the world will call much of what I say in the rest of this post crazy, but even Jesus in His time upon this earth was called a madman and one accursed with a demon. So never in the majority, but always in the trenches of true reality. What is this true reality? Allow me to explain.

There was a time in history when the Creator chose for Himself a people to call His own. At this time there was no Hebrew nation, but Abraham whom God met with and spoke directly to knew who it was that he was in the midst of and because he did what was asked of him in belief of what was promised it was accounted to him as righteousness and he became known as the friend of God, the Most High, and out of him issued forth the promise of one day a Redeemer being born and that would take back what was lost in the Garden of Eden and through belief in Him would make a way back to the Father in heaven, who is ever just and righteous and cannot abide anything tainted with sin for He is perfect. Now adays many people know of and some even in great detail these ‘old’ stories of the Bible and yet that’s as far as it goes for them. There just stories to them. They would listen about stories of any other ethnic related god figure from allah to buddha and reserve them with the same respect or secular disrespect. The point is that things in our modern word are vastly different when it comes to believing in God than it was in the ancient world of the Bible and beyond. What do I mean? Well back then everyone knew exactly who God was and what He was capable of. They knew Him, but they deliberately chose not to serve Him? Why? That answer still evades me, but it is no less incredulous that in the here now that people wake up each day and go through their daily life taking all the seen evidences of God and His creation as nothing to take note of and live out their lives in woeful ignorance of the enormity of what they have allowed themselves to be blinded of. What greater purpose can any man, woman, or child have than to realize the meaning behind each day of existence. When did a job, a social status, a busy calendar, a love life, or a constant need for entertainment divorce humanity from the interaction of needing to be connected to the source of all life? The ‘great deception’ as many call it isn’t something that is to come, it’s already here. Daily people are falling into an abyss of poor choices and even poorer moral standards and they don’t even know it or much less care what it is their giving up. Everyone is focused upon themselves and not upon the One who made them. Many are the ranks of humanity that have been deceived into an aura of self-obsessed selfishness of purpose and being and the only expected outcome is what I see all around me on a daily basis and that is a complete emptiness of spirit. We were created to rule with power and dominion upon this place called earth and instead the majority of those who breathe are nothing less than cattle herded about by the same evil entities of old that were chosen to be given esteem of in place of the One who created all. This life was never to be about us and everything about learning to be in relationship with the One that made us. Who is of more value, the clay pot or the maker of it? Which should have greater honor bestowed upon it. The thing or the One who made the thing? Common sense would dictate the obvious answer, but the reality is the opposite and the things of this world have been deceived into believing that things can come into existence of their own cognitive ability that arrogantly rises out of a lack of a better way of explanation for sheer existence in the first place and thus the Theory of Evolution is born and paid homage to with more faith needed to sustain it than is needed to believe in the God of the Bible. Once everyone knew who the Most High God was and they simply chose not to serve Him and now, today, few seem to know Him and most serve themselves and my friends this disservice to your Maker is not going to go on forever.

I believe in God and no all the gods of this world can’t be lumped in to some collective god consciousness so that people can say that god is something universally dependent on the desires of those worshipping and that all can serve and find meaningful spiritual purpose in a common belief in a higher power or the big man upstairs. No, you’re either serving the God that has His words emblazoned across the pages of the Bible and the hearts of those who believe in Him and His Son, Jesus or you’re serving at best the bidding of a lying spirit as that of a fallen angel or demon cur of a reprobate corrupted halfling. There is no halfway point in faith. There is no grouping of religious ideologies from different faiths into a framework that has any bearing on who God is. “Listen, Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is One.” Deuteronmy 6:4. To be a believer one can’t care if one is branded guilty of ‘hate speech’. The only accusation I don’t wish to bear is that which would come from my Creator if I failed to tell the world of souls that I come in contact with through one way or another as to exactly what it is that one must do to be saved.

I believe in Jesus and that He was the only begotten son of the Father and that He was born of a virgin. See here is where most Christians I think live in weird delinquency because the sentence I just said every Christian denomination would adhere to saying that it is indeed their belief, but there actions speak otherwise. What Christians do you see walking around openly seeking to apply the stories of the Bible to their own present day circumstances? Are any of us walking through walls as Jesus did? Are any of us raising people from the dead? Are any of us healing paralyzed people or causing new eyes to be created out of spit and mud rubbed into the eye socket? Very few is the answer. Truly in the book of James found in the New Testament it says, “What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can his faith save him? If a brother or sister is without clothes and lacks daily food and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well,” but you don’t give them what the body needs, what good is it? In the same way faith, if it doesn’t have works, is dead by itself. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without works, and I will show you faith from my works. You believe that God is one; you do well. The demons also believe — and they shudder. Foolish man! Are you willing to learn that faith without works is useless? Wasn’t Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? You see that faith was active together with his works, and by works, faith was perfected. So the Scripture was fulfilled that says, Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness and he was called God’s friend. You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone. And in the same way, wasn’t Rahab the prostitute also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by a different route. For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.”

So you might ask, am I, a self-described, ‘Real Christian’ doing any of these miraculous things that I’m accusing my fellow brethren in the faith for not doing? In a way, yes, because I believe anything is possible through Jesus and I am pressing, knocking, even beating on the door to do more and walk farther than ever before not out of selfish ambition to say I did, but out of love for Him that loved me before I ever even knew Him. It is this love that drives onward to achieve any and every goal placed before me, as it is my purpose in life to please the Father and not myself. Truly the life of a Christian must be one that hates the things of this world that other men worship in order to achieve the will of the Father which is everything. When you look outside of pleasing yourself and you turn over everything to God you will discover that the hole inside of you that you can never quite please or entertain enough is gone and your reality shifts from the things seen to the truths that are behind everything and which spell a glorious panoply to unimaginable to truly take in with just human abilities to rely upon. The daily aspects of life we see in the physical are but the tip of the iceberg of what exists in this multi-dimensional electrical framework of light sourced created cosmos of never ending detail and complexity. Yes, there are many, ‘new agers’ that through demonic means do see into the realms beyond the physical nuts and bolts, but it’s only because they’ve hijacked a ride on a system that they didn’t create or much less control and thus the deception of power over one’s existence is maintained and a soul is lost from the opportunities it could have had and enjoyed by simply allowing one’s spiritual enlightenment to come through the Creator of life and not by the freely offered means of those who wish to corrupt life and see it never reach it’s intended purpose. Daily life is a war, but if you’re on the sidelines lost in self obsession what need is there to kill or harm you as you’ve already closed yourself off to life anyway and exist only in a self-imposed exile of miniscule proportion to what was prepared for you if you only for once thought of yourself in the proper perspective of ‘pot’ to ‘Maker of the pot’. Get out while there is time! Open your eyes and see all that there is and don’t listen to the media, or fear being labeled a conspiracy theorist, or bow down to the crooked self-absorbed paths of fellow family members even. Break out of a system that is 100% engineered to keep you in fear and doubt, when love is readily available to be pressed down into you in a way that makes the sun rise and the birds sing on a clear morning. Be brave and seek the Most High and call upon Him! The Bible didn’t end a long time ago in its ability to communicate to us. Truly it says(Hebrews 13), “Let brotherly love continue. Don’t neglect to show hospitality, for by doing this some have welcomed angels as guests without knowing it. Remember the prisoners, as though you were in prison with them, and the mistreated, as though you yourselves were suffering bodily. Marriage must be respected by all, and the marriage bed kept undefiled, because God will judge immoral people and adulterers. Your life should be free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you. Therefore, we may boldly say: The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? Remember your leaders who have spoken God’s word to you. As you carefully observe the outcome of their lives, imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

So no more wasted time as we don’t know for sure when big judgment events may occur only that they will occur and this is certain because God is righteous and sin has no place in Him. Even as this is true His mercy is beyond belief and He holds back judgment so many times and for so many reasons that can all be founded in love for He is love. “(1 John 4) Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love. God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent His One and Only Son into the world so that we might live through Him. Love consists in this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiations for our sins. Dear friends, if God loved us in this way, we also must love one another. No one has ever seen God. If we love one another, God remains in us and His love is perfected in us. This is how we know that we remain in Him and He in us: He has given assurance to us from His Spirit. And we have seen and we testify that the Father has sent His Son as the world’s Savior. Whoever confesses, that Jesus is the Son of God — God remains in him and he in God. And we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him. In this, love is perfected with us so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment for we are as He is in this world. There is no fear in love; instead, perfect love drives out fear because fear involves punishment. So the one who fears has not reached perfection in love. We love because He first loved us.”

To bring to scale the level of God’s mercy one only has to go to this passage in Genesis, “The men got up from there and looked out over Sodom, and Abraham was walking with them to see them off. Then the LORD said, “Should I hide what I am about to do from Abraham? Who is to become a great and powerful nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed through him. For I have chosen him so that he will command his children and his house after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing what is right and just. This is how the LORD will fulfill to Abraham what He promised him.” Then the LORD said, “The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is immense, and their sin is extremely serious. I will go down to see if what they have done justifies the cry that has come up to Me. If not, I will find out.” The men turned from there and went toward Sodom while Abraham remained standing before the LORD. Abraham stepped forward and said, “Will You really sweep away the righteous with the wicked? What if there are 50 righteous people in the city? Will You really sweep it away instead of sparing the place for the sake of the 50 righteous people who are in it? You could not possibly do such a thing: to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. You could not possibly do that! Won’t the Judge of all the earth do what is just? ” The LORD said, “If I find 50 righteous people in the city of Sodom, I will spare the whole place for their sake.” Then Abraham answered, “Since I have ventured to speak to the Lord — even though I am dust and ashes — suppose the 50 righteous lack five. Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five? ” He replied, “I will not destroy it if I find 45 there.” Then he spoke to Him again, “Suppose 40 are found there? ” He answered, “I will not do it on account of 40.” Then he said, “Let the Lord not be angry, and I will speak further. Suppose 30 are found there? ” He answered, “I will not do it if I find 30 there.” Then he said, “Since I have ventured to speak to the Lord, suppose 20 are found there? ” He replied, “I will not destroy it on account of 20.” Then he said, “Let the Lord not be angry, and I will speak one more time. Suppose 10 are found there? ”He answered, “I will not destroy it on account of 10.” When the LORD had finished speaking with Abraham, He departed, and Abraham returned to his place.”

So my question is this, in a nation where hundreds and thousands of innocent babies are murdered through abortion every day of the week, when exactly is the tipping point for all the spilt blood that cries out for justice going to move the hand of the Father and see destruction like never before come to America? Part of realizing the incredible reality we walk through is gained through just the study of science of the workings of it. Do you know that blood has its own resonance? God Himself said that, ‘life is in the blood’ and He heard it when in Genesis it says that Abel’s blood cried out to him from the ground after he had been slain by Cain. So imagine the clamoring in heaven in the courts of the Most High that arises from the daily killing of just babies alone. Imagine the wrath that is in store for any nation that takes part in such abomination as killing its own children! The ancient world feared the Hebrew nation coming up out of exile in Egypt because they knew that theirs was the one true God and that with His help there could be no victory against Him. In the same way God’s people have been scattered across this world and can be found everywhere and they have suffered persecution unlike any other people and I tell you truly that God is going to reward the nations of this earth for every crime made against His true people and no the majority of the people in Israel today have nothing to do with being part of God’s Hebrew nation. You’ve been lied to! Look up the facts and don’t let the stories be spoon fed to you anymore. The tribes of Israel exist all over the world even as He foretold that they would be scattered to the four winds and there they are to this day and they are being awakened! God is moving and when He begins to move the earth with shake and tremble and you do not want to be a stranger to Him in that day! Give your life to Him today through Jesus and be made clean through the sacrificial blood of Jesus shed for you and break the cycle of self-willed destruction based off of a mindset of manifest self-interested destiny of utter foolishness. Truly my words may seem as foolishness to you the reader and if so then know I wasn’t talking to you, but instead I’m crying out to the heart that is still tender enough to feel and know that there is so much more than you’ve been told or led to believe. It’s time to believe!

One last thing I will say that I believe in and that is that this earth we live on is but one level of a dimensional construct of electrical light impulses bound within a matrix of heavenly appointed energetic design that has other layers like those of multiple blankets both above and below our place of earth and to that end I believe that the earth is flat. Many people are extolling that these days and truly there are many mechanical and scientific proofs out there to testify of it, but I need only one source to base my beliefs on and that is the Word of God and it says, “1 Chronicles 16:30: "He has fixed the earth firm, immovable." Psalm 93:1: "Thou hast fixed the earth immovable and firm ..." Psalm 96:10: "He has fixed the earth firm, immovable ..."Psalm 104:5: "Thou didst fix the earth on its foundation so that it never can be shaken." Isaiah 45:18: "...who made the earth and fashioned it, and himself fixed it fast..."

It’s time to stand on the Word of God like never before and if the world laughs at you for doing so then know that it laughed at God before it ever did to you and that your faithfulness will earn a reward the likes of which the world will never experience. If you would like to read more about my proofs/views of a flat earth then I invite you to read my Water Wars series, in particular Book 3, The Quest for Paradise . I welcome any and all support of my writing ministry and I deeply appreciate the purchase of my books, but truly this is a ministry for me and so if your lacking in the funds department just let me know and I’ll see that you get any or all of my books for free.

Sincerely written with love,

"Oh God, I didn't know!"

A lot is going on these days that is shocking. In fact there are so many events both of a spiritual nature and of a natural disaster nature that I’m actually becoming quite accustomed to the worst news possible as it drifts in from whatever part of the world that it is occurring in. We live in shocking times for sure and I think as a generation we are increasingly growing accustomed to it. There’s perhaps a deadening of the senses culturally speaking, going on, if you will.

As things seemingly spiral more out of control, in terms of spiritual alignment with the ways of God, I often wish for the peace that my father or grandfather grew up in when the simple life still existed. Sure there were disturbances like World War 1 and 2, but for the most part, it was a simple time and life was good without too much ‘shockingly disturbing evil stuff’ going on. That’s what I thought anyway.

Yeah, sure I know, evil has been alive and kicking since and most likely before the days of Adam, but in my father’s childhood things just seemed to be removed from the way that they are today, but sadly there are these times, these little moments of life sucking away intensity that destroy me with the awareness of them and rock me to the core of who I am and what I thought I knew was, ‘safe’.

We live in a cursed world and one had best always remember it and yet how do you prepare for the shock of awareness of something you once treasured as being something crafted by the foulest of sources? Worse yet is the knowledge that during your lifetime, in fact, for far longer than my lifetime, people have been doing something in perceived homage to their Heavenly Father and the values of their country of origin, when in reality they’ve been unknowingly doing something far worse. It’s not only a betrayal of faith for many of you reading this post, but in all likelihood for those of you who are American it also constitutes a betrayal of patriotism itself.

The following are a series of links to YouTube videos done by one 17Stormy17. The links are to songs. Very well known songs. Songs that many of us have sung. The reaction that might occur to listening to the following songs sung in reverse might be, “Oh God, I didn’t know!” as my wife and I were when we listened to them just last night, but sadly that doesn’t make up for it because whether unknowingly or not we have been furthering evil’s cause in this world by blindly trusting others not to lead us astray. Let this event be yet one more reminder to those of us who believe in Yeshua the only begotten Son of God to WATCH! “5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: 6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” Mark 13:5-6 KJV

 ‘I Can Only Imagine’

‘Word of God speak’

‘The Star Spangled Banner’

‘America the Beautiful’

‘America – My country tis of thee’

Something that has helped me spot the fallen story written beneath, sadly not in relation to the above songs, is the understanding that satan takes the natural order of things and turns it upside down. Like when the TV reporter announces to you that their bringing the story to you LIVE (evil – spelled backwards). In the case of a song it’s the message revealed when the words are played backwards. There is symbolism to almost everything visual, which is perhaps why I overlooked the need to be aware of something being sung with the voice and not perceived with the eyes. Those of us who are authors or charged with ministries by God need to be especially aware of what we’re putting out for others to view and hear. For instance if the flag and nation, memorialized by America’s founding songs are actually something constructed and manipulated by the work of demons then how can I in good conscience before my Maker write a story that I intended to be a patriotic ode to my nation, when song anthems of the nation are in reality a mockery of God. How many people have sacrificed themselves in defense of a country not worthy of one drop of the righteous blood that has been spilled on its behalf? Well does the Holy Scripture say of those of us who believe the Truth, “12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. 14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; 16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.” Philipians 2:12-16 KJV

Reality At The Gates!

The horns of war are sounding and the foretold calamities are stacking up, but are you listening? Do you see that business isn’t the same as usual? Do you feel that kick in your spirit that whispers, “I don’t even know why I try? It’s not like life is ever going to get any better than this.”

Question: Are you still trying to do anything sensational with your life or have you settled for the mundane routine of just getting through the day and being content with a little pleasure here and there to make it all worth it?

If this is you I highly suggest that you spiritually WAKE UP!!!!!!!!! As humans endowed with intelligence from a Divine Creator we are not to be conformed to this world and yet just count the ways that we all at times get hooked on the system that is foisted upon us and given us to drink from infancy up. We are imbibed in a swirling array of societal customs, stigmas, prejudices, and stereotypical programming that all coalesces to enslave us more than it does anything to help us. We were created by God to be different than all creation before us in that we have been gifted with the power of choice and yet we let others and the artificial societal structures put in place around us do all or most of our thinking for us. Think about it. What do any of us do that is truly an act of freedom from the thoughts and stated opinions of others?

Even those who choose to live dangerously and self abusively are only fulfilling the role that has been cast upon them by the dictates of a society that will never foster perfect people on its own. Today’s culture and the powers that be behind it have done everything they can to remove the influences of the one entity that makes everything new. That entity is God, clearly shown and made evident to us by the things that have been created and characterized in three persons (Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit). Together the three make one whole and yet we as people moving about upon the face of this earth are a fractured and divided lot of warring tribes being manipulated by the unjust gainfulness of a few, while other fallen entities encourage the whole spiral downward into death in hopes that we all experience death while still fully ensconced in bondage so that we might never know the glorious freedom that is to be had for each and every one of us who would but humble ourselves and call upon the Name of Jesus.

Freedom is glorious. Slowly I am learning to live in freedom. It’s hard. One has to realize first that one’s walk through life will never be sensational enough. Never pleasurable enough to warrant suffering through the pain wrenched moments sprinkled throughout a mortal lifetime. Never rewarding enough to last for an eternity and never unforgettable enough to be remembered by perhaps only one or two generations of descendants that may follow. What makes a believer in Jesus Christ different than all the people who are busily caught up in this mad cycle to fulfill the wants of their flesh and mortal imaginations? I submit to you that it’s the act of being selfless. Selfless in that you give up the very one thing that was endowed to you by your Creator, your freedom of choice. You give it back because you realize you’ll never be good enough, rich enough, happy enough, etc. - while frankly admitting that life is about more than the pursuits of one’s idle endeavors that only last for a mere vapor of time. As Christians we should be living with the one stated goal of the eternity to come and not the affairs of this life. And yet why do you not see this? Why are Christians some of the most miserable and worst hypocrites of all?

Some would say that it’s due to ignorance in the fact that we never seize the mantle of authority that Jesus gifted to us before He ascended back into heaven to be with the Father. Others would say many other things I’m sure, but one thing I have learned as an author dependent upon the Lord Almighty to write fiction that is meaningful and uplifting to others is that one can not lead without first having been abased. One can not have a position of authority without first learning to be humble and not think of oneself more highly than one should. I submit to you that the key to becoming a Christian of significance that can offer a meaningful impact in whatever land of circumstance that you have been placed in is the acceptance of the act of submission. Submission of your thoughts, desires, goals, future, hobbies, and family to the One who knew you before you even were and crafted you within your mother’s womb. It’s only by submission that one can realize that the key to living free and experiencing the joy that comes with it is by realizing that God can live your life for you better than you ever could for yourself. Put self aside and let God rule and reign in your life and you will see an unexpected harvest and a wealth of pleasures untold that do not find their root only now in the temporary physical plain of existence, but that also extend into the distances of eternity itself.

So why is it so important in these desperate times we live in to live such a given over life to God? Well the answer sadly is because so few have chosen to do so. The harvests of this world truly are ripe, but there are few willing to gather it into the storehouses. So many Christians are only so, in name, only. They have no perception or an extremely limited one at best, as to what is taking place around them. They have been conditioned by wolves and the deceits of their own lusts to ignore the signs of the end times that we live in, which Jesus forewarned us of (Matthew 24:1-14). Look around, but don’t do it through the eyes of others. Turn off the TV and the radio and put down the phone. Go outside and pray for the insight to see what has taken place in the length of time that you have willingly allowed yourself to be apart from what is true reality. Full disclosure doesn’t always come in a moment as it is, “the honor of kings to search out a matter’. This is a hard thing for the instant-on-demand generation that has been coddled into a dreamlike separation with the elements that constitute life as we now experience it 24/7 in the forms of addictive substances, harmful food additives, imagery laden lusts of the flesh, prescription drugs that enslave, and the greed of always wanting more of what makes us feel good.

Jesus asks more from us who walk in faith than just to be believers in name only. We are to be the light of the world and yet what have we become? What a stink we are to the tribes and nations of this world! Change is desperately needed and true change only comes through a heart that is ready to be humbled in the presence of its Maker. The power of the Church does not exist in the structured walls of a building better left unbuilt, instead it exists in the hearts, minds, and prayers of a body of believers that goes beyond all borders and knows no Master other than the Lord Jesus Christ! I am so sickened by how far ‘Christian’ has been stretched to accommodate so many things abjectly opposed to the faith walk of a true follower of Jesus. Even now at great expense to the taxed people of this land a Pope from Rome travels about spouting blasphemies and speaking of great things as if he was God himself. Even going so far as to say, “that a personal relationship with Jesus is dangerous”. Yes, a personal relationship with Jesus is dangerous. It can change everything. A life administered over into the Father’s control has the potential of laying waste to all of satan’s best laid plans and surmounting the seemingly unscaleable walls put in place around the hearts and minds of people who have been ensnared in a cradle to grave mindset of hopeless toil numbed by worthless pursuits, lands and titles that literally amount to nothing in the Kingdom of God!

It is time – it is well past time to get to work! I do not know how much time is left, but time in general is short to all those of us that draw breadth and so let us labor our youth away in the pursuit of redeeming the time that we have been given. Let none of us be content, but let us strive and push past old boundaries and open the corridors of our hearts and say, “Here Lord! Take it all and do with me as you will for my desire is towards You and You alone!” Let us become the Bride of Christ and stop walking about with our heads held low with only half the oil in our possession that it takes to make it to the Bridegroom’s loving arms. We all face a judgement. We all must account for what we have done. I submit to you that the Bride of Christ is not a body of believers that gather together one day a week for the sole purpose of hearing someone else speak and sing on their behalf, but rather a Bride is one that yearns and earnestly looks for her lover to appear and does not hold anything back in her pursuit of His redeeming love, even as the honor is not hers for being who she is, but rather that she by her actions has become a fit and adoring mate to whom all honor is due.

Calamities and tragedies are raging across this world and here’s one clue as to their location – they’re not on TV. I heard a story once of a man who had a friend who was a top CIA agent. One day the man asked his CIA friend what one thing he could do to be more in control of his own future and his friend told him, “I never watch TV.” You can guess at the obvious conclusions, but speaking for myself I can honestly say that the start date to waking up for me and my wife, as to what reality really looks like was the proclamation I made to myself as a newlywed man that I would not have any kind of cable/dish TV programming in my house. As I said, the process of waking up has been a gradual one, but now while many watch the newest installment of the zombie apocalypse occurring on their favorite TV show, I have but to make a trip to Walmart to witness it firsthand. That may come off as funny, but truly I’m not joking. How true the Scripture is when it says, ‘the eyes are the windows of the soul’. When you’ve been awakened and you walk in the filling Grace of the Holy Spirit, with the authority of Jesus upon you the things which will occur will amaze you. The demons will wink at you and pester you to show what you are made of in hopes of you becoming the fool in assuming that they have any real power over you in the first place. People who hardly know you will confess things they’ve never told anyone else, because they sense the difference. The difference being that you’re now a person under authority versus one walking around in the authority of ones choice to choose as you will. The opportunities to witness and impact lives is endless and the good favor of a Father blessed down upon a faithful son or daughter, who has chosen to search out His ways and obey them, is beyond comprehension. The best part of all is that your no longer alone in your struggle to hold up your head in a world gone mad, but you have the active and deep urging of the Holy Spirit, who only seeks for your best and a heavenly ability to send the warriors of heaven to wherever the battle line requires it the most. You’ll wake up every morning not with the pressure to be the perfect Christian, already knowing to do so is beyond your own abilities, but instead relishing in the fact that God already has the day well in hand and what He wants the most from you is true authentic relationship as exists between a Father and His children in whom He loves and delights in. Anything and I mean anything is possible, when God is directing your steps for, “the steps of a righteous man are ordered of the Lord”.

If the above up and close personally invested relationship with your Maker isn’t for you and you prefer to keep yourself in the driver seat of your own spiritual reality, which in turn effects the outcomes of our joint physical existence, then please do the Father the benefit of not calling yourself a Christian, because as a whole you are lukewarm and God would rather you be hot or cold. Reality comes in the fact that there is no gray area. True believers are in a daily struggle of good versus evil and if you choose not to partake in the fight, as the affairs of the world are to firmly entrenched within your perception of what is of most importance, then know you have your lot with those deemed to the Pit and the Lake of Fire, as even Jesus put it best by saying, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. Matthew 7:13-29

One last tip I can offer to anyone, who desires to be awakened and have the fire of God poured out in your life, so nothing of what you used to be remains, is to read your Bible every day. You have to understand that, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. John 1:1-5”. Simply reading the Words of God every day will do wonders to unlock all the hidden potential that God has already placed within you to do mightily for the eternal Kingdom to come, which shall not ever pass away.

I HAVE NO IDEA

The title of this post is the answer I received from my wife when I asked her what to write a post about. While at first seemingly unhelpful to my current state of web-post writing gridlock (its been like two months since my last post and then it was a cop out post in that I just shared some old poems of mine) under further review an idea emerged. What if I took her statement of “I have no idea” and changed just one word? That in mind I’ve decided that “have” needs to go and let’s replace it with “had” so now my topic of post writing interest should read, “I had no idea”

What do I mean by, “I had no idea”? Well lots of things come to mind, but I’m just going to focus on the ones that have influenced me the most lately and all the while keeping in mind the extreme likelihood that I may be called upon to add more life experiences to the growing list of “I had no idea” moments of my life.

Act of cluelessness #1:

So to start out I’ll keep it tame. Last Sunday around 10:00 AM I took my family to a local restaurant with plenty of regional charm which attracts the tourists. Yeah I know what you church goers are thinking, “10:00 AM on a Sunday? Shouldn’t he be at church by then or at least on the way there?” More on that later (Act of cluelessness #2), but anyhow; my family this particular Sunday decided to dine out with the sinners at the local breakfast buffet. I wouldn’t go to this place on a weekday but this place does put out a nice spread on the weekend I have to admit with both a breakfast buffet(kids eat free!) and a lunch buffet, which speaking of the latter, all the Christians who have been good and have gone to church religiously attend in great number. We’re finally sitting there at the table with plates piled high of breakfast food. The girl’s pancakes have been cut up and drizzled with liquid high octane fuel in the form of table syrup, my wife, whose six months pregnant and very diligent about her diet for baby is happily satisfied in the moment in that her protein uptake for the day is well on the way of being knocked out of the park and my son, while youngest of the litter is happily clearing away all food in sight upon his plate. Not one, but two utensils clutched within his white knuckled grasp as he endeavors to sample everything at the same time x 2. All in all it’s a wholesome family moment and then the hand on the shoulder. The older women’s voice speaking, “You have such wonderfully behaved children. I couldn’t help but admire your family.” Really I have no idea why they say that. Don’t people realize that even vicious predators can appear tame when being fed food to their hearts content? No, really I know what she was seeing and yes I do have great kids, but it’s not like there aren’t wars fought every day, with plenty of screaming going on to raise these heaven sent blessings of ours. So as usual I say something like, “You should come back in an hour”. In reality though I’m saying, “You have no idea what you’re talking about.” But then maybe she does. I digress.

Act of Cluelessness #2:

Still keeping it tame, but moving out into deeper waters I’ll say this, “I had no idea that I could have church, real church, in the sanctity of my own home.” Yeah that’s right, having church at home. As a believer in Jesus I’ve been programmed for many years with this thought of, “If you’re not at church on Sunday your faith relationship with God must be weakening and before you know it you’re going to be in hell!!!” Oh really, well I don’t listen to that religiosity talk anymore. My salvation is not dependent on a building or the calculated sermon of a pastor meant to lull one into what often seems to be a herd of clueless souls that take up space in churches today(I should know as I used to be one). No, on the contrary I walk my faith out each day and my relationship with God is not about being on my best manners come Sunday morning so I can go gloat in self adulation along with the rest of the home team seated in aisle B of the church. “But Jesus said not to forsake the gathering of yourselves together!” That’s right He did. He also said that where two or three are gathered that even so He is in the midst of them. My wife and I make 2 and both of my daughters have committed their lives to Jesus so now I’ve got 4 and should things continue the way they are I have no problems with welcoming others into my house to experience a home church atmosphere. What would a visitor to our little home church find? They’d find prayer, reading of the Word of God, instruction and discussion on what the Word is saying in its proper context and how it’s meaningful, how to put it to practical use, and then praise and worship. Notice praise and worship comes last. Truly why do those in official church buildings reduce the praise of God to three or four songs before they get it out of the way in order to hear a sermon which may or may not have any reading of the Word attached within its point of focus let alone read aloud? What’s more is what exactly are people praising or better put how can they praise adequately when the Word, which is God, hasn’t even been spoken or witnessed to yet? I’m not saying I won’t visit the aisles of a church again, but for me I had no idea how if you simply present yourself humbly with a spirit of praise to God within the confines of one’s own home that God’s Spirit would so overwhelm the atmosphere as He has for me these past three Sundays. Another thing I have no idea about is how so many Christians can continue to attend and fund their churches whose leadership has ushered in occult traditions and abominations such as ‘its fine with God to be gay’, when He specifically says it’s not. Instead of relying on others to facilitate what your experiences with God will be why not be authentic and take the burden of your own walk of a moral life poured out to God’s glory and make the living room or even the kitchen of your house a meeting place wherein you welcome God into your spirit/body(holy temple) by both remembrance of His Word(Bible) to us and the heart felt praise we owe Him for all He has done for us. A body of believers gathered in a church is not a bad thing, but if one apple goes wrong it can spoil the whole barrel. As a man of God I can’t necessarily alter the anti-Biblical decisions of a church board or pastor, but I do have the authority to regulate what comes into my house. I urge you to pray about it and consider your options, if like me you’ve discovered that no church within the immediate area you live in is the right place to be. You do not want to be found in the attendance roll call of a lukewarm church! Unless that is if God has called you to be there to help lead that congregation back into heat. It’s a case by case thing hence the importance of prayer before you decide to do anything.

Act of Cluelessness #3

I had no idea how hard it can be when you devote your life to exposing evil and helping others find their way to Jesus. I mean for many years of my life I existed in that churchy atmosphere where you go to church on Sunday and you hear the missionary speaker talking about pushing levitating witch doctors to the ground in Africa in the power of Jesus’s name and you think, “Wow! That’s real faith! How do I get faith that can accomplish that?” The desire to do more for the Kingdom of God stagnates though and years go by and then something happens. You’re just going on as usual trying to survive and claim that bit of happiness out of life that everyone is crawling over each other to possess and you make a decision, an important decision. I made one of those and at the time I didn’t know the ramifications of it, but the decision I made wasn’t to please me, but rather it was one made to please God. Things happened and more good decisions are made and before you know it you find yourself as a believer on a battlefield you really didn’t think existed in the reality that it truly does and you find yourself faced off against absolute evil and the urge to be about yourself and your own interests fades away, because you see the bigger picture. You realize that the importance of life isn’t about the comforts or the good times to be had so much as it’s about embracing the plan that the Creator has for your life. Think about it. If you’re facing each day with an expectation list of what you expect to receive out of it, are you really living for Jesus? If, however, out of love you forsake what your eyes tell you they want and embrace the still small voice of God’s Spirit within you then you begin to see more and when you see more you will want to see even more. Truly the wellspring of God’s redeeming Grace in unquenchable. To taste of it is to want more, but we’re not at the gates of eternity yet. This is where I had no idea how hard it can be to be authentically alive and active for the Kingdom of God. Normal people go to sleep at night, while others of us often struggle with demons and the threat of invasion all through the dark hours of the night and into the day as every weakness we possess is tried and tried again and again. It’s a war my friend. If as a believer in Jesus you aren’t engaged in this war or don’t even know about it then you need to get in gear and start realizing your true potential, because we’re called by God to be ministers of change and to redeem and give a proper account of the time and opportunities that each of us has been given to affect positive change in this world and the hearts and lives of others. If you currently are experiencing much oppression in your life as a Christian then you’ve already got the status report of what the enemy’s analysis of you is. The more you attempt to achieve for God the bigger the target to the enemy you become. Reversely the less you do the less of a target you become, as satan and his minions are only too happy that you’ve decided to take the gifts given to you and sit on them as you allow yourself to be marginalized and sit the game out on the bench. Church today is often engineered to prohibit you from realizing the potential you have for making a difference. That’s my opinion, but well, prove me wrong somebody. The Church, the seminaries where your pastors are trained and every show and commercial you watch on TV have all been infiltrated by the god of this world and satan is his name. You can actively fight or remain passively held up within your place of perceived safety where not much is required of you, but to those who have been given to know more, more is required of them. It may not sound appetizing to you to knock on the door and ask for more only to then start having to fend off real life demonic attacks at every turn, but consider in a moment of self-analysis that you’re still thinking about yourself before you are of God. Once you make the switch in perspective to God’s will vs. your will then you’ll see that even the sacrifice of your own life is acceptable, if it accomplices more for the Kingdom of Heaven. Radical isn’t it, but I ask you would you rather go out an unsuspecting lamb unaware of your surroundings having been fully tranquilized to see no evil and feel no shame or would you rather be a tiger clawing and roaring at the enemies of your Most High Sovereign? The battle is real the question is, “Are you in it to win it or sleep through it?” There’s isn’t much time left for you to make up your mind about it.

Act of Cluelessness #4

I had no idea just how badly my kindergarten teacher and all those who followed her lied to me about one of the most basic elements of the reality we live in and how it perhaps more so then any other element of creation speaks to everything having been created by a Divine Creator. I don’t blame my teachers, because well, they were lied too as well. The crime really falls on all of us in terms of not taking the Bible literal enough as well as not using the common sense God created us with. You’ll see what I mean in a moment. As I write this I fully realize that I’m about to switch most of you off, if I haven’t already done so, because the layers of programing that we’ve all been put through are immense. I believe its only natural that you experience a certain amount of denial as to what I’m about to lay out before you, but hopefully, you, like me will come to see the evidence for the truth that it is and say, “I had no idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Okay I’ve built the suspense up enough I think. So what one thing could be so wacky, so crazy that you’d be laughed out of any establishment on earth? Well it would be this, the earth is flat…………..still with me? On the off chance you are and even crazier still your willing to question the false reality that’s been built around you allow me to expound on just how convincingly you’ve been lied to and why it’s such a big deal. The earth according to NASA is 25,000 miles around in circumference and 18,000 miles in diameter. Earth is said to be a planet that orbits the Sun which is 93 million miles away. According to NASA, the Earth, in order to make one full 24 hour rotation spins near the equator at a 1,000 miles per hour. Not only is earth spinning so fast on its axis, but additionally NASA says that Earth, indeed our whole solar system rotates around the center of our galaxy at 490,000 miles per hour. Why do you believe this to be true? Is there any way for you to personally verify any of the facts that a government sponsored agency such as NASA would tell you? You might think the answer is no, but in reality there is. All you have to do is open your eyes to seeing outside of the box that you’ve had drawn around you. Alright a little history. Did you know that every civilization (including the Egyptians, the Chinese and the Biblical Hebrews) on earth believed the earth to be flat up until 500 years ago, when a Jesuit priest mathematician named Copernicus came up with an equation which he said proved that the earth was round and rotated around the sun. He was a privately wealthy man and to validate his claim he had an observatory built, only he never installed a telescope or any means by which to study the sky. It however was a new idea and the Catholic Church decided after a while that they would adopt the theory that the earth was round and as they often did in those days they insisted that everyone else do the same. In fact they actually made it a crime to believe in a flat earth. Time passes and then the ultimate proof for the world being round is given to us by NASA, a government agency of the USA that was founded in part out of a need to legitimize the Nazi scientists which were brought to America after World War II in Operation Paper Clip, in the form of a moon landing that resulted in one grainy out of focus view of earth from space. That was enough though. Ever since then NASA continues to receive billions of dollars in federal funding and every kindergarten teacher begins the education of each new round of pupils within her classroom with a visual representation of the earth as a globe along with how to spell their name. The lies have gone on for far too long. The only evidence for a round earth is because NASA and Copernicus say so, if you don’t agree with that assessment then try to come with some evidence to prove it wrong. I however will give some examples that you can test for yourself. There are many, but here are a few factual arguments that counter the theory of a round earth.

#1 According to NASA, Earth is 25,000 miles in circumference, 8,000 miles through the middle. A little basic arithmetic will then give you the rate of curvature one would experience on the surface of such a round object given those numbers it is 66 feet of fall for every 100 hundred miles traveled. To clarify if you’re standing at point A and looking toward point B, which is a hundred miles away, point B is already out of your view as it’s fallen an elevation of 66 feet below your viewable horizon line. Sounds cut and dry doesn’t it, except for one thing, sea level. For instance where I live is roughly 2800 feet above sea level. The level of the sea or oceans if you will does not change the world around. Sea level is how all matters of geographical elevation are determined by. It allows us to see the broad picture that NASA can’t hide from you and only hopes that no one will ever tell you about. The Nile River is a 1,000 miles long. From start to finish it changes in elevation by exactly 1 foot. If the Earth was round it should be dropping 66 ft. at the minimum in elevation every one hundred miles, but it isn’t.

#2 Before GPS ship captains used charts to navigate by. Interestingly no ship captain in the world has ever or could ever take the globe off the study room desk and safely use it to navigate anywhere in the world. It simply doesn’t work. Look at a globe and pay attention to hour meridians that go up and down from the north pole to the south pole. The distance between each time meridian line in terms of time is one hour right? So why are the lines closer together over Greenland than say over Bermuda near the equator? Does time pass by faster in Greenland or is it that you live on a flat earth where each time meridian line goes straight up and down with no bending or coming together at one point such as they do on a globe model at the north and south pole.

#3 GPS (created by the US Defense department and gifted to the world) is used to pilot a ship coming into port after dark these days, but in the old days ship captains relied on light house beacons. They had reference charts which showed them the candle output power of every lighthouse beacon along the coast, which in turn determines how far the light travels on a clear night. The way it worked was this. They spot a light from the direction of shore in the dark of night. They take a notation of the time they spotted the light and how fast they’re traveling. Sailing on they eventually spot another light in the night. They now know where they are. Using their reference chart and knowing how far they’ve traveled they see that the first light matches a lighthouse whose beacon is visible on a clear night from 24 miles away. The second light having appeared at the proper moment given the distance traveled lets them know it’s a lighthouse whose light is visible from 20 miles away on a clear night. Each lighthouse is unique and now knowing which two light houses their dealing with the ship captain can triangulate his current position at sea and form a new line of course that will safely bring him into port. The problem for a round earth believer is that on a round earth a light source would only be visible from 6 miles away and yet for how many centuries have sailors been using lighthouse beacons to navigate by at distances of 20+ miles.

#4 Have you ever seen a slow time release star chart? If you haven’t look it up. What you will see is that every star in the night sky rotates in a circle around the North Star, Polaris. They do this night after night, day after day. It never varies day in day out. The kicker for a round earth believer is that from anywhere on earth if someone looks up they will see the same occurrence. This wouldn’t be the case if the earth was round. The only place this would be conceivably possible would be if you were standing directly on the North Pole and then only for a split instance. Remember according to NASA we’re rotating 1,000 miles per hour and our whole solar system is rotating around our galaxy at 490,000 miles per hour. On a round earth our perspective view of the stars overhead would be constantly changing and in a time release capture it would look like a bunch of squiggly marks instead of the perfect circular orbiting patterns around Polaris that we do see from earth. The entire universe of God’s creation is rotating around earth. Now do you begin to see what they’ve been hiding from you? NASA tells you that earth is the third planet from the sun, but Earth is unique from all other created bodies, “He made the heavens and the Earth”, Earth is a singular creation and not a planet at all. It stands still and does not move at all as evidenced by every star in the night sky. Some would argue that a way to prove Earth is round would be that southern constellations such as the Southern Cross can’t be seen from the supposed northern hemisphere, but in actuality this is but a limitation of the human eye. Get a powerful enough telescope and you can see the Southern Cross from the Northern Hemisphere.

#5 Going with the last point of #4 it is often evidenced as a proof for a round earth in that if your standing on a beach and a ship is sailing out to sea that eventually it will seem to fall over the horizon hence the earth is round. However all that has happened is that you’ve reached the limit of your eye sight, bring a pair of binoculars up to your eyes and the ship will come back into focus. How is that possible if the ship has fallen over the horizon due to curvature of the earth? It’s not.

#6 There was a famous experiment done in England quite some time ago. There are these old barge water channels that go on for miles. In one spot they stretch out to 6 miles in a straight line. A man with a telescope standing in the water watches a sailboat depart down the channel away from him. It travels the full distance of 6 miles and at no point does the man in the water lose sight of the vessel, but using the same NASA provided calculation for the rate of the earth’s curvature over a distance of 6 miles the sale boat should have been 16 feet below the perceivable line of sight of the man with the telescope.

#7 This is a common sense proof. Nothing really scientific. So picture the globe on the study desk and ask yourself one question, “How do all of those 1,000’s of feet of heavy seawater not slosh out of control and drain down the planet to lie at the South Pole or better yet just drain off the planet entirely and filter out into space. The answer most commonly given would be, gravity. Gravity holds all that massive weight of sea water into the ocean beds. Uh huh……… so gravity is so powerful that it can do that, but you and I who weigh considerably less than all the mass of water on this planet aren’t glued to the surface of the earth like metallic paper clips on a strong magnet, but instead are free to move about freely? Again the theory of gravity exists because Sir Isaac Newton says it does, but just do a little research and see how even the scientific community of today is starting to put forward the reality that gravity doesn’t exist, but that its rather a matter of density, mass, and perhaps temperature that cause an apple to fall.

#8 I could go on with these proofs, but if you’re not at least questioning the story that’s been fed to you from birth I don’t know what will, other than an act of God, which is how I got my eyes opened. Earth is flat and above it exists an impenetrable dome (the firmament). The sun rotates around us and it isn’t huge and it’s not that far away. If you use a simple device such a sextant from old mariner days you can make a measurement of its distance combined with some math and you get a body of matter that is only 32 miles in diameter. I think everyone has seen in the afternoon that mass of a cloud which has the sun behind it and rays of light shooting out in a fan like pattern to the ground. That simply isn’t possible given the distance and size that NASA lists for the sun, as mathematically, all the rays of the sun would hit the Earth as one fixed directional wave. Plus if you get in a plane and get above the cloud cover you can actually witness a hotspot on the clouds from the sun above, again not possible from a sun located 93 million miles away. And running with light for a moment, remember that 70% of the planet is water and so water is reflective isn’t it. So if the moon landing and footage was real the earth should have looked dark as it would be reflecting the darkness of space instead of appearing as a shiny blue planet. The Bible and the Book of Enoch, specifically says that the sun rotates around the Earth.

Speaking of the Bible……………What does it say about the matter? I’ll get to that but first consider these three quandaries of belief of a believer in Jesus and yet one who thinks the Earth is round.

#1 If the Earth is round then why does the Bible on multiple occasions make statements like, “shall gather them from the four corners of the Earth” “winds from the four corners of the Earth”(I’m paraphrasing but you get the point about ‘corners of the earth’ I hope) How do you find a corner on a round object?

#2 When satan took Jesus up onto a high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment in time how was this accomplished if the earth is round? Remember God doesn’t use magic, and reversely satan can only reverse engineer in part what God has already done. With enough magnification the whole earth would be visible from a high mountain if it was flat.

#3 The Bible says that every eye will see Jesus and every knee shall bow when He returns to Earth. How is that possible on a round earth? We know geographically speaking Jesus will appear over Israel at His return so are the people on the other side of a round earth suddenly going to be magically gifted with the ability to see through the core of the planet to fulfill scripture? I don’t think so. It says Jesus will come from the east as well, which brings to mind that verse where it says He removes our transgressions as “far as the East is from the West”. On a round Earth that’s not very far at all. Keep going East or West and you’ll end up back where you started, but on a flat Earth East and West never meet. Which interpretation of the Earth fulfills scripture better?

Some Bible Verses:

Psalm 19:4-6 “In them [the heavens], a tent is fixed for the sun, who comes out like a bridegroom from his wedding canopy, rejoicing like a strong man to run his race. His rising is at one end of the heavens, his circuit touches their farthest ends; and nothing is hidden from his heat.”

1 Chronicles 16:30: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable.”

Psalm 93:1: “Thou hast fixed the earth immovable and firm ...”

Psalm 96:10: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable ...”

Psalm 104:5: “Thou didst fix the earth on its foundation so that it never can be shaken.”

Isaiah 45:18: “...who made the earth and fashioned it, and himself fixed it fast...”

Isaiah 40:22…..”sits throned on the vaulted roof of earth, whose inhabitants are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the skies like a curtain, he spreads them out like a tent to live in...”

Ezekiel 1:22-26, Ezekiel 10:1, Daniel 4:10-11, Matthew 4:8, Revelation 1:7, 2 Samuel 22:16, Job 38:4, Psalm 18:15, Proverbs 8:29, Isaiah 24:18, Revelation 7:1, Jeremiah 51:16

The Bible is a flat earth book and when you see it all laid out you can well imagine why satan wants to hide it from humanity because if everyone finds out the condition of their existence in this uniquely made place we call Earth that is caught up in a time matrix of Divine manipulation they would have no choice but to except that there is a Creator. The secret of the earth’s true shape is by no means not unknown by the elite running this world. The most brazen sign of which is the UN flag. Look at it. It depicts a flat earth map surrounded by 33 lines of degree. The only thing not pictured on the map is Antarctica, because in actuality Antarctica forms the outer ice wall land mass that the firmament dome rests upon. Why do think there’s a treaty in place where-in each member nation of the UN promises to never do anything in regards to Antarctica? It’s strictly off limits and no one is permitted to go there including corporations hungry for the vast mineral wealth there is to be had. What government in the world do you know says no to the greed of gaining more wealth for themselves? It’s getting trickier to manage the deception, but somehow they have done so, but hopefully not for much longer. All flights in the so-called southern hemisphere are laughably absurd. If you live in Johannesburg, South Africa and you want to fly to Melbourne Australia it appears as if but a nonstop 10 hour flight across the Indian Ocean. Not so. In reality the plane flies north to Dubai in the Middle East then to Indonesia and then to Australia. Your ten hour flight turns into 20 hours + with multiple layovers because on a flat earth Australia is farther north then a globe would have you think it is.

If none of this has been convincing try jumping up into the air as high as you can and then consider how many miles away from your original location you should be since the earth is spinning a 1,000 miles per hour. I hope the end result of what has taken me half the night to write, dear reader, is on your part one big resounding, “I had no idea!!!”

Need some visual aids to help comprehend the enormity of a flat earth? Attached are two links to some YouTube channels that I believe do an excellent job in showing conclusively just what the facts are of the place that you and I call home.

I'm Tired Of Being Poisoned

Catchy title isn’t it. Well consider Exhibit A. In Exhibit A we have a sweet tea bottle half-drunk by me in the not too distant past. The sweet tea brand is one that can be found at most convenience stores, at least on the east coast of America. Said half-drunk tea bottle has been sitting on the porch for probably about a month as a sort of ongoing experiment by me. The result? I now believe there is virtually nothing safe to drink from what can be pulled out of a gas station fridge. Why you ask? Well this particular tea bottle has seen quite the range of temperatures in its month long existence on my front porch. There was the stretch of about five days where the temperature didn’t get above 25 degrees Fahrenheit and went as low as the single digits. Multiple off and on days like that throughout the month and then there was that wind storm one night with a wind chill of about -10 to -20 degrees with the temperature close to zero. Through it all Exhibit A has continued to remain un-frozen??????

Something’s not quite right here. Science informs me that water freezes at 32 degrees, but its sweet tea and not just plain old water right? True, it isn’t plain water, but what pray tell have they put in it to make it not so much as to even begin to get sludgy or ice at all given the extremely low temperature ranges I’ve mentioned? Kind of reminds me of the big news story a while back where a kid left a Walmart brand icecream bar out in direct sunlight in the middle of the summer and his mom left it there to see how long it would take to melt only to discover several hours later that it hadn’t even begun to melt! If you didn’t read the story I’m sure some decent googling will pull it up for you.

So let’s tick off the possibilities that seem obvious as to how one can lower the freezing temperature of a drink product that is mostly water with added ingredients for flavor.

#1 Alcohol: Hmmm, so if I get pulled over by a police officer and have a breathalyzer done on me am I going to flunk it because I drank a bottle of sweet tea? Doesn’t seem plausible surely.

#2 Anti-freeze: Think I’m kidding? Remember the title of this article, well there’s a reason for it. Anti-freeze is an ingredient in Gatorade among other drinks at your convenience store. While we’re on the subject of Gatorade let’s not forget to mention that it also contains fire retardant and I’m not referring to the effect of water on fire. Don’t believe me google it.

#3 Some mystical property of its bottle that protects the fluid from subzero temperatures so you can have a drink when and wherever you want, even if it’s at the North Pole: Not likely, which sadly leaves us with the option of considering either Alcohol or Anti-Freeze or a combination of the two as the likely culprit to blame. Are you mad yet? Well you should be!!!

So many of the foods we consume in America are now referred to by the rest of the world as Franken Foods. Here’s an un-exhaustive list of just some of the poisons to be encountered at your local convenience store.

Mountain Dew: Many poisonous combinations, but you men consider the effects of Yellow 40. It renders you sterile and does so rather quickly.

Pop in General: Two cans any brand (small metal ones not the big 16oz, 32oz ones) have the ability to render your immune system to be largely absent for about five hours depending on your metabolism rate. Consider also that as humans our bodies function the best when the ph level of our bodies is slightly on the sweet end of the scale versus the more acidic side. Put a metal nail in a cup of Coke and it will be gone by the next day thanks to carbolic acid. On the other hand if you run out of windshield washer Coke makes a great substitute to clear away the road salt grime from your window. Just don’t let it get on your car’s paint because it will eat through it. And we put this acid in our bodies in great supply. All that acid has to be offset by your pancreas which is sent into double time to provide the countering bile and insulin in order to keep your internal ph level balanced. You can’t live without your Pancreas. That is something I well know as I lost my mother to Pancreatic Cancer when I was 16 and I strongly believe that the one to several cans of Diet Coke she drank a day were responsible in large degree to her getting cancer. Regular pop is bad, but the diet versions are far worse thanks to the substitution of sugar for ester sugar alcohols. Ladies, in order to hook you on drinking diet soda they add a chemical that mimics the endorphin reward that you receive when you eat chocolate.

Monster Energy Drinks: It seems in the last five years the shelves have exploded with this brand of drink from iced coffee versions to jumbo extra extra cans. Forget the excessive caffeine and other ingredients intended to hotwire your brain into a state of vibrating alertness and let’s consider the negative impacts of this drink on not just your body, but on your soul. That’s right, it’s soul food, only instead of deep fried goodness this food hails from hell. How so? Again I say google it. Quite a few YouTube videos out there that delineate with detail the many satanic tie-ins of this drink. For instance in the lettering pay attention to the upright cross in the letter O. It’s upright so you may say what’s the problem? Well consider that every time you take a drink you’re turning the cross upside down and in effect you are drinking against Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross. Then there’s the company slogan. “Unleash the Beast” and by now I believe many people are aware that the three monster marks depicted ripping down the side of the can are not claw marks but rather the Hebrew alphabet symbol for VAV which is attributed to the letter 6 in the Hebrew language. There are three VAV symbols on the can hence 666 and with a slogan like that do you really still believe all this is coincidence? You men out there who still think it’s cool anyway and like the vibe you get consider also one of the ingredients not listed on the bottle. One of those “other Natural Flavors” and gents the one I speak of is bull semen. Don’t believe me then do your own research. And oh by the way if you think you’re missing the satanic side of the spectrum by drinking Red Bull consider the Red Bull symbol is a carbon picture takeaway from the Egyptian bull god and let’s see their slogan would be, “Red Bull gives you wings”. Consider in the garden of Eden that when Satan is trying to compel Eve to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that he says “”For God knows that in the day ye eat of it then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”” Genesis 3:5 Notice the term “gods”? Definitely not referring to God Almighty, but rather to beings that surely to Adam and Eve must have seemed to have the almost godlike abilities of God. The only such beings I know of being present at the time were angels and some of them, if not all, have wings. So look at that slogan in a new light and yes caffeine is a drug and drugs figure heavily into leading people astray and the braking down of their inhibitions into performing sin against their own bodies. I’m not saying that either alcohol or drug consumption is wrong, but there is a need to be wise about the mind altering abilities the substances have.

Bottled water: Any bottled water with the ingredient Magnesium Sulfate is a direct risk to the health of unborn children and guess what, almost all bottled water has it, among other harmful ingredients that are “added for taste”. So what do you do if you’re a pregnant mom in need of lots of hydration and you’re on a long trip to somewhere? Good question. A better one is why is someone trying to poison your unborn child? Better yet if the poisoning risks to unborn children are so well known and verified then why are they being continued unabated?

Pre-Packaged Fook (aka muffins, donuts, Debbie Cakes, etc.): Ever make bread at home from scratch? On the off chance that you did and barring the likelihood that it was promptly devoured by willing eaters and actually had the chance to sit around the house for a few days, tell me what happened? Funky green and blue stuff starts growing. Not so with convenience food. They make sure mold never grows and doesn’t that sound healthy for you. The final product rendered from their bakery to you doesn’t even support the lifecycle of mold. On the other hand if you ate the moldy bread at home you’d be inoculating yourself with the raw form of penicillin the mother of all antibiotics.

Let’s see what we’re left with……..candy bars? I don’t think any of us think their healthy for us. So in conclusion the average convenience store is now a chemical and genetically modified wasteland of food that even animals won’t touch. I have an outdoor cat named Chester that has a bottomless appetite. If I drop him some “premade people food” he backs away as if a deadly cobra is waving in the air in front of him. I can take a hint and so should you.

Sadly the poisoning of our society goes much farther than what can be found at your local gas station with icecream that won’t melt and sports drinks with the ingredients of fire extinguishers. Apples have become so genetically modified in America that they are banned from being imported by other countries. Farmers everywhere in America are buying into the no-till philosophy where you don’t plow your crop fields anymore, because that can lead to erosion. You just spray the heck out of it with Round Up and then plant Round Up Ready corn. Both the weed killer and the corn are courtesy of Monsanto. Within three generations rats fed GMO corn can no longer reproduce. What’s that doing to us? Well a news story from last week pointed out how the DNA of GMO corn and rice is beginning to show up in human DNA. Go figure. How many couples, in industrialized nations, do you know or perhaps you, the reader, are one of them that have had difficulty in trying to get pregnant? There are a lot of you and the numbers are rising, but such is not the case in Third World nations where there still eating the food that they’ve grown from seed for thousands of years. Perhaps that’s why Bill Gates and Oprah Winfrey’s world aid organizations are doling out so many vaccinations that render the children in these Third World nations sterile and infertile. And people wonder why villagers barricade their villages off and threaten the life of aid workers and anybody affiliated with the World Health Organization, but that’s a different story, but the takeaway for you is that their only trying to protect their children and so should you. You are what you eat and the horrifying reality is that more people need to wake up to the fact that they are being systematically poisoned by those who think there’s to many of us on the planet as well as by those who wish to render us something less than human. There is no need for the garbage in our food. People need to start demanding answers to what is causing the massive degradation of health in America and stand up for a better future free of poison.

This by no means is an American problem. There are food shortages the world around and many of them I believe by design. In India farmers are committing suicide because they have no food to feed or sell in order to support their families. Is it because of drought or bad storms? No. It’s because they were forced to give up their heirloom seeds in favor of seeds provided by Monsanto. They as a people are used to healthy self-grown food and they noticed immediately that the new food was causing them illness and not good for them in general. What did they do? They tried to plant and grow crops with their old seeds only to find out that the seeds won’t grow. They won’t grow because the soil is now rendered useless for the growth of anything but GMO seeds for who knows how long. In South America farmers have had their seed stocks that they’ve had in their families for generations seized by the government and they are now being forced to buy GMO seed from Monsanto that can’t self-reproduce on its own, which means they now have to buy new seed each year.

Consider the house of cards the agriculture system here in America is built on. Do you like orange juice? Who doesn’t, but almost every orange tree in Florida is a hybrid clone of just one or two parent trees. If just one incurable plant disease comes along all the trees die. GMO crops are decimating Honey Bee populations everywhere. Google up how the internal systems of a honeybee eating GMO crops looks versus self-pollinating crops. It can be summed up in general that it kills whole hives of them outright in short order. If all the bees die so do we humans. It’s that simple and that far reaching. Without bees there are no crops that will mature to fruition other than GMO crops and wheat, as wheat is pollinated by flies and other insects. Never fear though. Monsanto has acknowledged that they are largely responsible for the honey bee die off and are now working on miniature sized drones that will hover automatically from blossom to blossom in order to replace what a hard working God created bee has done since creation began. I’m sick of it!!!!!

My advice to you all is to get online and buy yourself some heirloom seeds and start growing your own food. If any global or local economic collapse should occur and you haven’t prepared then you’re up the creek when it comes to food. What seeds might still be available on the shelf may feed you a modified diet of a lab’s creation for a year, but if the outage lasts longer then you quite simply will have no food, because GMO plants don’t make reproducible seed. What then? You fill in the blank. I hope you take my advice and prepare for the worst while you still can, because there are entities in this world who are poisoning you ever chance they get and their goal is for you not to survive. Whether it’s because your crops won’t grow because the molecular ability of the soil has been modified inert or it’s a slow steady decline of eating Franken Foods and drinking fluorinated water. Be careful to listen now because the more fluorinated water you drink, which isn’t to fight cavities, makes it harder for you to think clearly. Fluoride other than being a deadly poison also has the effect on the human body as that of a powerful tranquilizer. A tranquilizer that calcifies the very important penal gland in your brain. The penal gland lies within your brain behind your lower forehead. Interestingly this glan has rods and cones much as our eyes do, which has led to it being called the third eye. What does an internal glan need such seeing abilities for? Well it’s my belief that when a person is saved the ability to see in deeper dimensions and greater spiritual insights is given over to God and He directs the usage of what is seen and discovered by a believer all the while being a Shepherd in the discovery process. As a Christian author I truly believe that I have been so instructed and gained insight from God through this very glan. It’s very important to comprehend that God doesn’t use magic to accomplish His work. He uses the science and the physiology which He created by which to bring about His will. It’s just so grand and complex at times that it appears that it must be magic, but there is order to everything God does. Satan perhaps better than any scientist realizes the science and mathematical excellence behind God’s creation and he isn’t above using simple chemistry to shut you off or impair your abilities in the spirit realm in order to limit your spiritual impact on this world. Ephesians 6:12 “”For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”” It’s very important to remember that Satan very much is the ruler of this world and armed with that knowledge it should come as no surprise that all the powers that be are trying to either kill or impair you. Time to wake up and see that this is a battle about more than food.

Don’t take my word on any of what I’ve said but look it up for yourself and be educated. After that I suggest praying about what to do, even if all you can do is to limit in part the poisoning of your family due to a lack of personal finances, because face it, Franken Foods are cheap and healthier alternatives more expensive. Live free or die slowly.

I will also add to those who are willing to walk in a life that spreads the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others that there is a promise that you can lay claim to over yourself and family regardless of your financial ability to provide good food for yourself and family. Mark 16:16-18“”He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.””

Princesses and Dragons

There comes that time in each day when the clock strikes 8 o’clock (pm) which sounds the nell of bedtime much to the displeasure of the younger populace of our humble Victorian castle. It’s not always an 8 o’clock bedtime as sometimes the King and Queen of our humble little kingdom do relent and have mercy for the earnest pleas of the populace that they rule over. However there are those days, when affairs of state and the whining and bickering of the royal offspring creates such a dirge as to demand an early cessation of the vaunted privilege of staying up afforded to these young misses and sirs. Such a sad state of early affairs with pillow covers and stuffed raccoons was not tonight. Tonight was special.

"Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed"

I Corinthians 15:51

As often as it is requested by young Princesses desirous of as much awake time as possible the plea was made for the King to tell a story after the Bible story was read and prayers were said. The King sadly doesn’t often relinquish of his time to the satisfying of such pleas as he is more want to the telling of stories during daylight hours when left in the royal carriage with the irritable populace of the backseat occupants clamoring for the Queen to return from whatever has engaged her ungainfully long within the places that merchants call home and which we are encamped against as if in siege. Those are the times that I tell my Sleepy-Lazy-One Eyed Tiger stories, but that was not the case tonight.

"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

I Corinthians 15:52

Tonight was a story of beautiful Princesses fallen asleep in a strong tower while outside in the darkness fallen Knights conspired to drive three dragons, who had forgotten the source of their creation into attacking and killing all that was good and right in the lives of the two princesses so fair. It was a good story. The dragons attacked, but they could not break through. Not because they lacked the strength to smash through stone castle walls or shatter mere panes of glass with their flaming breadth, but rather because the Master of their creation was present to hold back the desires of their fallen masters.

"For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality."

I Corinthians 15:53

Such it often is in life and so often it seems as if the dangers all around us are not seen for what they are because we’re asleep, so content we are in the fortresses that we build around us, but truly we are defenseless against those who would kill and destroy all that we hold dear in this life. If it weren’t for God there would be nothing good left in this world for it has only been by His good mercies and saving Grace that has stemmed the tide against humanities downfall to the ravening beasts pawing at the windows of our souls in search of a meal to feed their monstrous and eternally dammed appetites.

"So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory."

I Corinthians 15:54

In the conclusion of my story the dragons although they beat and waged war against the tower to get at the prize held within, they could not get through. Not because of strong stones or magical spells, but because the lives within were consecrated to Him who both formed humans, angels, and all divinely appointed kinds. The strength to resist evil does not reside in one’s own abilities or sense of self-worth. The strength to resist is a gift from the One who gave us the immortal spark of our souls and the first breadth that our dirt formed bodies ever received. So many people the world wide are seeking endlessly in the search of finding themselves, but I submit to you that the ultimate search in life should be one of far far different import. The search for meaning should be rooted on the One who holds it all together and who we can never even begin to fathom the depths of and yet a way has been made for us to do just that. All you have to do is just open your eyes and read what has been written.

"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

I Corinthians 15:55-57

In the course of my writing my eyes have been opened to many things and I have been shown great mysteries and yet my desire is not to run from the course set before me – to run and fold the hands to sleep – and ignore the monsters outside the windows clamoring to be let in. No, my desire is to walk hand in hand with my Creator to that window and shatter the closed moratoriums of conscious effort that so many hold forth in ignorance as they deny the need for either change in their lives or of the existence of a greater creative force behind all they see and by such actions allow admittance by those who are damned into the corridors that God built to house His glory, but now serve as the dry intermediate waste places of every foul spirit of hell to rollick in and play the fool while what little precious time there still is ticks by never to be seen again.

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."

I Corinthians 15:58

My writing and daily interactions with others will remain rooted in the faithful service of my Master and while the battles are many the rewards are even greater. Nothing around us is pointless and no seemingly random occurrence without its own great complications. God is there caring for us even when we are asleep to all that is going on around us, but it is my prayer and even my hope that as I have awakened to reality so will you, if not from long time before already. As I press on so I pray that you will choose to as well. Now is a time of deception where all that is well and good is fast departing from the realms of man. Take heed now for the last age is fast upon us, the age of the Beast and no one will be left with excuse in the end, but all………….. "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Philipians 2:10-11

"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."

Revelations 1:7-8

It’s never too late, until the day it is. So don’t wait. Get right today with Jesus and approach both tomorrow and eternity with the confidence of knowing your redeemed through Christ and a vessel appointed to glory and not to ruin.

State of a Nation in distress…………… or …..……… the truest testament of the times that we live in?

As I write this late at night (actually it’s the next morning) I have a new reality that I must face….yet again. I’m a man of God without a church of my own to call home. Today is Sunday and later in the morning I will be going to a new church. Maybe this church will be the one (emphasis added), perhaps not. I’ve grown weary of the struggle in times past to find like minded individuals such as my wife and I in which to participate in the Body of Christ with, but no longer. It’s taken a long time, but I’ve come to the realization that wherever I am as long as I am in the will of God I am not alone. The journey has indeed been lonely and at times very disappointing.

What do I mean by disappointing?

I’m referring in specific to the religious climate of this nation of USA.  When I was a boy my parents after finding their own circuitous way found a church that they could call home. When they found it they invested themselves wholeheartedly into it. My father broke his back and spent countless hours in the construction and maintenance of it and my mother did likewise even serving as an English teacher in the small Christian school that the church ran. My father taught Sunday school and served as a deacon and we were one of the families that got the stuff that needed done….done. To me though it was just church. I didn’t understand the value of what I was witnessing as the result of the freewill offering of a few good believers in Christ.

We were always at church it seemed. It was like a second home to me and my sisters. Our lives revolved around what was taking place at church/school. Then one day it all changed.

I think I was ten when it happened. The it that happened was the day my father stood up, to my horror, in the midst of a sermon that seemed to be stretching out to long and to full of confused ramblings for my young mind to even want to begin to comprehend, and denounced the pastor whose family founded the church as a heretic. I think I’d been doodling on a piece of paper with a pen garnered from my mother’s purse in order to occupy myself and take my thoughts off how hard the wood chair beneath me was. Now at full attention of consciousness I watched as my father yelled and spoke angrily at the pastor in front of the whole congregation. Oh God! What was he doing? And stranger still why was everyone in the audience nodding their heads in agreement with everything my father said? What had happened? In short a man once yoked tight with God went astray and got caught up in a web of dark choice inspired confusion that destroyed his ministry. His mistake and no doubt of others as well fractured a church and undid much that was good.

Church was never the same. Through my early teen years I watched that church I’d grown up in wither and die much as the olive tree that Jesus cursed for its lack of good fruit. The congregation gone after a a second pastor who didn’t inspire and by that time a church school long defunct of students I watched my father the last member of a church that had once even had its own Bible college close the musty doors for good. Long gone were the inspiring Bible rooted sermons and fiery Sunday night praise and worship sessions that had gone on for hours and hours with no one noticing the passage of time. Sunday night football couldn’t compare with the allure there was to be felt to be in the presence of the Holy Spirit in worshipful praise of God.

I miss those early days of my first experiences with God. I to this day have never seen again the kind of worshipful abandon in praise and willing self-sacrifice that I did as a boy of 8 or so.

My mother dead from complications of cancer and my father now remarried to the only other surviving member of the church, I found myself trapped in a spiritual wilderness unlike I had ever known could exist. I was alone it seemed. I was sixteen. My best friend in life was dead. My sisters both moved far away and the growing reality that I was a stranger within my own father’s household as each day brought the realization that my mother was never coming back. Life was never going to be the same again. Seemingly all the joy drained out of life as all my foundations of security in home and church were all shot away and God, in my mind, seemed to be the cause of it all. Hadn’t He closed the church? Hadn’t He chosen not to heal my mother when He could have? In short I was at odds with my faith in God. I believed in Him, but I didn’t think that He had my best interests at heart and so I did my best to hold together the pieces of a family that really has never been mended to this day.

After some church hopping my father settled down in another church. This time it was a denominational church unlike the non-denomination church of my upbringing. Things weren’t the same or as on fire as I had seen before, but there was some fire at least. Church became comfortable and I excelled myself into trying to fit in and make my impact on this new setting. Time went on and I found myself standing in the back of the church as an usher thinking to myself that there had to be more than this habitual ritual that took place every Sunday like clockwork with little change to it and little in terms of spiritual progression taking place. I’d seen it before. Dry-rot. Dry-rot happens to a wooden beam over a long length of time, but at its completion of decay the wood is good for nothing but to be thrown into the fire. A destiny I feel is all too real for too many so called Christian churches in America.

As hard as I’d tried to fit into the church it never happened. In particular, to my importance at the time, the girl’s that were my age never so much as paid a moment’s attention to me. What was wrong with me? My mother would have said nothing, because in memory of her I continued to do and be the man that I knew she would have wanted me to be. So the problem had to be elsewhere.

In desperation I did something radical, at least to me. I joined the eharmony dating service and began looking for a mate. By nature I’m an introvert that over time has learned to talk and carry on conversation and fake like I’m in with the rest of the talking horde. It was a big departure from the norm for me, but it demarked for me a big step in the restoration of my walk with God that had gotten severally injured years earlier when my mother died. The day I joined eharmony was roughly six months to the day that I had given up for good my addiction to porn by way of reading erotica and romance novels. I’d made a pack with God that got hammered out on my knees in countless prayers for forgiveness from sins that the world or my family for that matter never saw or knew of and wouldn’t have guessed of the quiet young man who seemed to be always above reproach. The war with my addiction was a daily struggle, but I knew where the road of addiction would lead me and I chose to do it God’s way, but the thing was I came to realize I couldn’t do it alone. On my own despite however noble my attempts to be good sooner or later I always failed. I began to let go and learn to once again trust that God had my best interests at heart and when I did that the impossible began to happen in my life again.

I absolved myself from all thinking of sexual things and in short I made myself into a eunuch for God. Then God surprised me and opened a door and basically pushed me through it. It was a God thing and it was exciting because I felt myself spiritually on the move so to speak completely apart from my fragmented family and current stagnant church atmosphere. Then one day I encountered this match on eharmony who had the right answer for everything. The thing was all I had was her words to go by, because she didn’t have a profile picture. I had to trust God again. It was scary, but more and more I learned that God was worthy of my trust. Mary came to me. She traveled across half the country for our first date and eleven months later we were married. A month later we were pregnant, but that’s another story.

My mother was the greatest gift that God gave to me as a child, but my wife is the greatest gift other than my salvation through Jesus that I have been given as a man. She was so far ahead of me it seemed spiritually that in some ways it seemed we were unequally yoked in that she deserved someone far better than I. Thankfully she’s never seen it that way. I will say this though, she’s sneaky. She saw the problems with the church  I attended with my father and instead of saying anything to me about it she began to pray that I would receive spiritual insight to basically make the big decisions. Before long as I found myself increasingly enamored with rediscovering the Bible because of her I began to become very angry with what was going on at church or at what wasn’t going on at church. Every Sunday I’d carry on one long monologue all the way home about what I didn’t like till one Sunday I said, “I’m not going back! I want more!” Her softly spoken but somewhat smug reply, “I’ve been praying that God would show you that.” I left my father’s headship at that point and began my own journey to find a home church.

We joined a big church and instantly it seemed like home because we were embraced with open arms by a loving couple in the church. Years went by and once again I dawned the usher coat in my eagerness to serve and Mary got heavily involved in the women’s ministry. She started out as the secretary and then she became the president of the highly influential women’s group. Then for lack of a better way of putting it all hell broke loose. Neither of us were prepared for the infighting and underhanded politics that can go on inside a church when money or prestige is involved. My wife was attacked emotionally and verbally from all sides and the signs of dry rot that we’d been blind to at first were now everywhere and we both grew bitter at the knowledge of what a mockery the supposed outward manifestation of so many Christians can be like. No wonder so many people are turned away from accepting Christ as their Savior when so many Christians are the worst of hypocrites and far from adhering to the truth’s written in their Bibles. Yet again the problems, though many in number and varied origins, could all be traced back to the pastor’s lack of control over his own life. His lack of control spiraled his headship over his flock into an unscriptural foundation of conduct that’s bad fruit hurt and poisoned many.

My wife resigned her position and we left. We wanted nothing to do with the running of a church anymore. All we wanted to do in allegiance to God was to grace a pew and participate in praise and worship. We were scarred and God knew it and strangely we were allowed to do for a season exactly what we wanted, which was nothing. We joined a mega church. It was radically different than anything either of us had known. Praise and worship was a choreographed laser light show done before a crowd of several thousand people in an amphitheater like auditorium that was like taking eight cinemas and making one big one out of them. Talk about comfort! We had it all. The children Sunday school class facilities were beyond compare, endless small group studies and get togethers, a pastor who possessed perhaps the most humble spirit that I’ve ever encountered in an individual, and an endless supply of coffee and feel good messages.

It was great to start out with coming from the other church with war wounds and to some degree we healed and made peace, but at the same time we became instantly dissatisfied with our mega church as our thirst for spiritual progression was once again prompted by the Holy Spirit into overdrive. Every Sunday without fail the laser light and full band ensemble was perfect, but in a crowd of over  1,000 people that had three services a weekend you might see one in a hundred with hands lifted high in worship with no guarantee that it was genuine worship. And without fail just when the Holy Spirit was beginning to move the music was over and according to timing constraints the info dude would be out on stage to crack some lame jokes and talk about church bulletins being displayed on two megatron screens. This mega church didn’t even have an altar. They never had prayer requests. Everything to a T was choreographed and all you had to do was sit back in you comfy theater seat and enjoy an abbreviated sermon while you sipped at your cappuccino. It was always simplistic stuff to. Sin and man’s fall and the ramifications of hell were never talked about. Perhaps that’s why in a church that didn’t endorse homosexuaily there were same sex couples who openly kissed in front of everyone. As the saying goes, “Hear no evil, see no evil.” That church with its watered down message, sugary creature comforts, and lack of accountability was more the prep station for hell then it was a part of the enabling process of getting people saved and going to heaven! Needless to say we left.

Next we moved into an underground church that literally was in a basement under a doctor’s office. It was great and to some degree we felt confident that we’d found our home church at long last. It was good for a year and then things began to slide. The pastor became obsessed with finances where before he trusted in God to provide what was needed and the messages on Sunday morning descended into the preformatted material that’s put out there for mass download by pastors who don’t rely on the Holy Spirit for what they need to be preaching and sharing with the flock. It became increasingly apparent that these good people (the pastor and his wife) had issues that should have been apparent to them and seemingly would have been if they had been ministering in the Holy Spirit and not of themselves.  So we left.

A pastor is the head of his flock and the way he goes so does the church he’s in headship over, but it’s not as simple as that. There are thieves of darkness planted within the hallow halls of churches whose specific purpose is to bring down the more righteous members of the congregation by any means possible. It’s no secret that witches and warlocks make up the memberships of churches for that specific purpose alone. Satan hates authentic worship of God so he infiltrates and subplants true worship with false worship that is dedicated to satan instead of God. In the basement church almost every praise and worship time towards the end I had to look past an extremely pious acting man on the front row throwing up his arms in vibrant worship. In actuality he was throwing up cultic Masonic hand signals. He was cursing the congregation the entire time of praise and worship time. Pastor stood right across the aisle from this man and yet no one seemed to be aware of what was going on. Most people just sang the words on the screen wanting to get that good feeling vibe instead of actually examining themselves in order to give something of worth to their Maker, while a few of us spent the time in intercessory prayer trying to block the darkness pervading the atmosphere of the service intent on warping it from being meaningful and the people from being equipped to throw down enemy strongholds and take the victory that’s there for all of us if we only except the Holy Spirit’s invitation to go deeper and expand our faith.

This constant falling away and drift from the Word of God has been my adult experience with church. Perhaps my experience with church in America is the exception, but I don’t think so. We’re told that in the End Times that there will be both a great falling away and that many are deceived. I see the evidence of this everywhere. How many of us are truly ready for our Savior’s return? How many of us are taking the talents given to us and actually investing them in the Kingdom? So much of the church it seems has become altogether unprofitable in this country. God Himself said that He would rather us be hot or cold instead of this lukewarm epidemic of phony religiosity without depth or spiritual backing of the Word of God. God said he would spew out all that is lukewarm and the parable of the ten virgins perhaps makes more real than any other passage of scripture that there are going to be many who call themselves saved who are going to miss the boat. “….and there will be gnashing of teeth…..”

Last Sunday I took my family to a little humble roadside chapel that’s been there a hundred years or so. The kind of little church that has more of the lawn surrounding the church taken up by the grave stones of those fallen asleep then it does parking spaces, but then again it doesn’t need much parking as there aren’t many that go to church there anymore. I was hoping to see a glimpse of that time as a boy when church was open Bibles and abandoned pursuit of God in all things. That was my hope, but in reality I stumbled into a nest of vipers feeding on the clueless. I’ve never been in a service of such empty quality. Everything was time worn ritual and while my family was greeted warmly all I could see was the chunky gold rings of varying Masonic/Illuminati cultic orders bedecking the hands of about half of the men in the church. During the message the pastor actually used as a teaching example of how a friend pastor of his had stopped performing marriages, because they were only going to end in divorce. The friend pastor however did still perform funerals because in his words, “once there in the grave they stay there for good”. The experience of our enemy ops mission was capped off when one woman in the worship choir proclaimed loudly with pride about how well their Woodman of the World (a subdivision of the Masonic order) picnic had gone the previous weekend. I haven’t been naming names so far, but I’m going to now. This church was a Methodist church. The same church denomination that the Great Awakening of bygone years largely came out of in America. On the drive home my wife pointed out perhaps the capstone on the grave of this once on fire for God denomination. The church bulletin on the back pointed out in bold letters that the woman’s groups for the Methodist churches of the area would be meeting for their annual business meeting at a local Catholic church!!!!!!!!!

It’s been a gradual awareness for both my wife and I that we are sojourners in a land that is not our own. On every side is wickedness in high places and truly the god of this world is satan. Make no mistake about it we are fast approaching the end of the age that has been foretold to us by countless Bible prophecies. The falling away in this nation has already happened and is claiming new victims daily. The flock has been set upon by wolves. Where are the shepherds? Why is there so much division in the Body of Christ? Why do so many Christians lack even the basic understanding of what it takes to be saved and live a sacrificial life founded on God’s principles in a culture where everyone else is doing the proverbial it, so why shouldn’t I? Where are the true worshiper’s of Christ? Why does it increasingly seem to me that there will be more rocks of the earth crying out with joy at Jesus’s return then there will be people? Jesus is coming. He’s coming quickly and when He does you have got to be ready for it. Don’t let your lamp oil run out. Don’t be cast into the fire of the Tribulation to come!

I don’t know if the new church tomorrow will be better or worse than any of the others have been, but I’m not going to stress about it anymore as my faith is secured by God and church doesn’t define my identity anymore, but rather I define the identity of any place that I visit with my choice of will not to submit to the ways of this world whether at church, work, or at home.

In expectation of the glorious day to come, when my Savior appears in the Eastern sky to call me home to the place that He has prepared for me.

Keep the Faith,

Interview with Susan Smith – Proofreader and Editor Extraordinaire

Interview with Susan Smith – Proofreader and Editor Extraordinaire

Hi Susan, I’m so glad to have found you and I’m really hoping that by having this interview today with you that it will serve as the focus for a lot more people to come into contact with you and your wonderful talent as not only a proof reader, but also as an editor. Now being an author myself I can say that I truly do know the value of people with your skill set and to date I haven’t found a better one than you. I think it’s important for me to clarify for those in the audience, that while proof reading and editing services are by no means new to the literary world, the quality that you exhibit is always going to be a rare commodity set apart by itself. As I’ve previously stated, I’m glad to have found you and I’m enjoying our working relationship as you help me to better define my written words so that readers have the best experience possible when they pick up a book of mine.

Well thank you, Guy. I love your books and consider editing them to be a privilege.

Now Susan I have a couple of questions that I want to ask and I think that there are questions that many authors want to and often do ask those individuals that they entrust with their prize manuscripts to. Shall we start?

Certainly Guy, I'll be glad to answer any questions that you have.

Okay then. A big one for me is the Voice of the Story. I’ve had prior experiences with others in the editing sphere of influence where basically the editor wishes to become the writer. They take over the story through their own lens of contact, as they superimpose themselves into the dominant role in the process of getting a book published. For myself personally, I have to say that’s a nightmare in the making. How do you handle the role of aiding and encouraging the Voice of the Story to the desired destination versus becoming the guiding force for the entire Story and interjecting your own Voice in place of the original?

In some ways, that's a hard question since I've always edited with an ear for the author's voice. First of all, I edit from the perspective of a reader, not an author. I view the story as belonging to the author and see my job as the polisher, if you will. I truly admire someone who can write a good story, why would I want to re-write it? If I wanted to write a book, I'd write my own!

Second, I believe that the author's voice is as important as the story itself. I guarantee you, if you had 4 different authors write a story using the same characters and basic plot, you'd still get 4 very different stories. I think it's important to preserve the author's voice. When I come across a sentence that reads awkwardly or is kind of rough, I try to keep the author's word usage and tone in mind when choosing an alternative sentence.

You’ve edited one book for me so far and I have to say that I really liked the way that you went about it in terms of showcasing your refinement of my writing. Allow me to explain to the audience exactly what it is you did. I, the author, provided a good old serviceable copy of my book in Microsoft Word format. You proceeded to take that digital file and make the changes needed. Now, instead of the dreaded term paper with red ink etched out all over it, I received in return the same workable digital document with not so much red on it. In specific you employed three colors. Red for spelling corrections. Green for grammar corrections. Blue for Editor Suggestions. I have to say, going down through the file was a freeing experience from other editors in the past where it was “you must change this and this and this …..," etc. How did you come up with your system of editorial review?

(laughs) Actually, that's the first time I've done it that way. In one of your original emails, you asked me to highlight the changes I made in a colored font. Well, it occurred to me that it might be helpful to you if you understood what type of error I was correcting. I guess, in the back of my mind, I was thinking that it would help you make less errors in the future. So, I basically borrowed from Microsoft Word which underlines spelling errors in red and grammar errors in green. Then, I also needed another color for my suggestions, so I just randomly chose blue, which happens to be my favorite color.

Now, I’m a self-published author and by that term alone it says I’m basically tasked with doing it all myself. But, as the saying goes, “no man is an island unto himself.” There is a great need I feel in the writing of most, if not all, of the burgeoning number of indie authors out there, for some good oversight and editorial review. How do you view your role as an editor? Specifically, do you see yourself staying in the indie market or are you interested in more mainline authors that have gone the publishing house path?

I'm open to either, but see myself more in the indie market. First of all, I believe the indie market is where the growth is happening. It can be very difficult to get published by a publishing house and a lot of good authors get excluded. As I mentioned earlier, someone who writes a good story is not necessarily someone who's good at the editing. That's where I come in. I sort of see myself as the silent partner. Just as my husband and I are a good team (we're very different in personality), I see the writer and editor as a team, working together to produce a great book.

I’m an author of many genres, but a prevailing theme behind all of my books is my heavy insistence on carrying my Christian lifestyle over into the stories I write. In a previous communication to me you mentioned that it was my strong action styled storytelling coupled with my inclusion of God and faith elements in my books that attracted you to my books in the first place. Do you see yourself as staying in the Christian market of fiction or are you open to doing editing services for books that might fall outside the realm of Christian fiction as well? Also are there certain genres that you prefer working on over others?

I see myself as staying mostly in the Christian market. While I'm not opposed to other markets, I prefer to work with books where God is central. I really have no genres preference. I enjoy pretty much any type of book with the exception of horror. I don't think I could do horror. Science fiction and fantasy are one of my favorites as well as humorous mysteries, but I'm not exclusive.

When you're editing, do you ever get the urge to write yourself or do always see yourself as but the enabler for clearer expressed thought to someone else’s imaginings?

It's funny you should ask me that. I actually have the beginnings of several stories on my computer and my family wishes I would finish them. But I don't very often have the urge to write and really prefer to help others with their writing. I guess I see myself as a better editor than a writer. I don't know, maybe someday, when my kids are grown, I might try writing.

Now, sadly, most of us DIY authors share the common problem of being, for lack of a better way of putting it, broke. I have found myself often befuddled as to just how much money it takes to put a book together well and then to get it out there where it will be noticed in a positive light. One thing I’ve learned to grow observant of, is investing my money where it will do me the most good. I find that it’s best, not to mention reassuring to me, when there’s some way of validating the services of what is being offered, before I have to make a full monetary commitment. Do you offer authors a way to first see what it is that they’ll be receiving in terms of an edited manuscript, or is it blind commitment; this is what you get for this much money? I guess what I’m trying to say is, do you offer a free partial peak or money back guarantee of your editing endeavors on behalf of the client?

Definitely. Editing is a lot of work and can be rather expensive for the author. I would rather offer a free sample up front, say the first chapter of the author's book. Then, if the author doesn't care for my work neither of us has made a huge commitment.

Well, I think that about does it for this interview. What’s the best way, Susan, that authors out there reading this can contact you to pursue getting you to look at their book? Going along with that, I’d also have to ask, for the benefit of those in the audience, where they might go online to see more of your work firsthand?

Currently, the best way to contact me is by email: thecountrysparrow@gmail.com. If you wish to preview some of my work you can check out my husband's blog: http://SmittysToolCrib.blogspot.com. I edit most of his blog posts. Also, you can view a preview of a book we co-wrote, and I edited, here on Amazon: 101 Strategies to Combat Worry

Thank you, Susan, for having this interview with me and thank you to all those of you out there reading this interview. She does great work and I can’t recommend her talents enough. My fellow authors, if you’re in as need of a helping hand as I am, in getting the perfect story out there for all to read, then you can’t go wrong with Susan.

Christian Speculative Fiction: Why do we need it and why you should read it

All fiction has power to it. Words both spoken and non-spoken are powerful things. Words among their many uses have the power to enthrall, teach, entertain, and change a person’s viewpoint. Now perhaps we can all agree that the prototypical romance novel plot line or say an Old Western era novel aren’t going to change anyone’s viewpoint on anything. You either love them or hate them for their genre setting. In other words you know what you’re reading before you even start reading. It may come in different flavors, but nothing typically that lies outside your expectations of the genre. This is not so for Speculative Fiction. Speculative Fiction doesn’t prescribe itself to a stereotypical image other than to say that it’s imaginative and you’re never quite sure what direction it will take, which is why it’s both fun to write and to read.

Christian Speculative Fiction is an even rarer bird. Most Christian fiction falls into a very precise stereotype, which I often refer to as “nicey nice”. When you pick up a Christian novel you have a range of expectations of what typically you do not expect to find within the pages of the book. Christian Speculative Fiction is the exact opposite of this perceived stereotype, because while Christian ideals should be maintained, the door is open however for a full host of opportunities and experiences to be perceived that one might not find anywhere else.

Fantasy and Speculative Fiction go hand in hand, in that it takes a good bit of fantasizing to come up with something speculative in nature. Take C. S. Lewis’s popular writings for instance. They easily stand alone and are not conforming to any fictional stereotype in the time period that they were written in. They’re unique to the author’s imagination and anything goes and in turn the reader is treated to a glimpse of something that they’re potentially not going to find anywhere else in genre specific literature. Going non-Christian fiction related for a moment—take, for instance, the writings of Edgar Rice Burrows and in particular his John Carter of Mar’s series. They’re imaginative and completely unfounded in any known reality and yet they are meaningful, entertaining, and resonate strongly with the core of many people’s need for the discovery of something new and the desire to create something. We are after all made in the image of the Great Creator so it’s only natural to be creative in turn.

Speculative Fiction as well Fantasy explores the reaches of the human intellect in that it exemplifies the freedom to do something else than anyone else ever has. In short: good Speculative Fiction is original. Now nothing is new under the sun as King Solomon once put it, but there is a scarcity of people through the ages who just let their imagination flow. I’d say it’s an even smaller minority of writers who pray for their inspiration to occur—as opposed to being locked in a room with an extreme case of writer’s block and a floor strewn with crumpled up pieces of paper. Writing should be fun and Speculative Fiction, in my opinion, is that and more. Mainlined genres have invisible lines of conforming stricture that can’t be crossed which inhibit what imaginative vortexes can be given birth to with pen and ink.

Can you tell I’m biased? Perhaps I am, as I have written an entire series of books that more than fit into the realm of Speculative Fiction.

Some write for money or to gain social notice, but I like to write something that causes a profound experience to occur in both myself and the reader that is often unexpected as to the path it takes or where it winds up. Now such experiences can happen in regular mainline genres, but with Speculative Fiction you really are reading at the core of what an individual’s journey through imagination looks like. It’s powerful and when combined with a strong Christian based element of belief what could be more powerful? Think about what C. S. Lewis did for the last century alone. Many people have traveled his imaginative highway and many have tried to duplicate it, but his thoughts remain unique to him just as mine do to me. Now all people are influenced by a number of factors including the work of other writers, but few I believe actually step out and risk the social exposure of criticism to begin something new. I for instance received harsh criticism from a close family member—not on whether my writing was good or not, but rather because my writing didn’t line up with any of the excepted icons in the fantasy realm such as J.R.R. Tolkien or C.S. Lewis. It was actually offensive to this person that I had written something that contained the elements of many styles arranged in a new configuration uniquely my own. You’re going to get that from some people when anything new is first introduced. Some people seemingly don’t have the ability to adapt outside of their set standards for what a story should contain, but then there are some readers who thirst for that new adventure. The latter group desire to experience something new and bold or even something old told over in a different way. My friends, if the latter is you, then you’ve found what you’re looking for in Speculative Fiction, where anything goes. This is regrettable in some cases, though it shouldn’t be the case, but in general this type of book provides a bold flavor more suited to those who like some variety in their literary diet.

I’ve written examples of Christian Speculative Fiction in my The Warrior Kind series, but really one could say my writing has a blend of all of the following genres contained within it: Fantasy, Science Fiction, Inspirational, Action Adventure and Romance. What separates me though is that I didn’t limit myself to any of them, but I borrowed what I wanted from each. I ran with it and thus I have provided my readers with a speculative, and yet powerful, experience into worlds of my creation peopled by individuals—who make decisions and face reality in a way that stereotypical settings fail to. They call it Speculative Fiction, but really it’s the genre for writing that has everything and is definitively the height of entertainment. I write stories that are speculative by nature, but Divinely inspired in underlying message and that’s the way I like it.

It's Spring!

“Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness.”

Quote, Samson from the Bible

Honey is the sweetness that Samson is referring to, but I put it to you that there is another golden ambrosia of nature and its name is Maple Syrup. So why am I writing a blog article about Maple Syrup of all things? Well because I make it and because its Spring time and the maple sap is flowing, which tends to override everything else going on at the moment. On the farm I live on we’ve been making Maple Syrup for over 130 years and it’s become the dominant source of our family identity here on the farm. Our farm is even named The Maples in tribute to the trees that we collect the sap that goes into the most unique tasting of all natural products.

If you’re familiar with the Biblical account of Samson then you know the source of his honey was gotten from a rotting lion carcass. Yummy! Just kidding. I can assure you that we don’t pull Maple Syrup out of objectionable places. Far from it actually. Our maple syrup is 100% organic and the syrup you taste comes from a forest of maple trees that has never been commercially harvested for lumber. It’s a virgin forest with trees that are well over four hundred years of age. So if you want to taste something sweet from a very old source of nature coupled with the experience of a family that’s made it for over a century then I invite you to check out our farm website, which I’m providing the link to here www.themapleslegacy.com

Here are some things you might not know about Maple Syrup.

·         Maple Syrup broken down by sugar content is healthier than sugar gotten from honey, because it breaks down as a complex sugar as opposed to a simple sugar the way honey does.

·         Maple Syrup contains lots of beneficial minerals such as the following: iron, calcium, zinc, manganese and potassium.

·         The University of Rhode Island has published some studies that show that Maple Syrup can prevent diabetes. Maple Syrup has high levels of phytohormone and abscisic acid, which encourage the release of insulin and improves insulin sensitivity in fat cells.

·         One ounce of pure Maple Syrup provides 46% of your daily dose of Manganese. Manganese supports the healthy function of all of the following: energy production, proper thyroid function, sex hormones, balancing blood sugar levels, and the absorption of calcium. Maple Syrup also has Zinc, which is good for immune system function.

·         If you substitute Maple syrup when you’re cooking in place of processed sugar it has shown to have the following benefits for those sensitive to processed sugar: its less likely to cause indigestion, gas, and bloating.

·         Pure Maple Syrup contains 54 antioxidants. Five of those are unique to Maple Syrup alone and haven’t been found in any other natural product.

·         Maple Syrup tastes really great mixed into your oatmeal and believe it or not milk. Vanilla ice-cream never tasted better than when it has Maple Syrup drizzled over it. Ever get those plain Cheerios that taste bland, because your heart or cholesterol conscious? Drizzle some Maple Syrup on at no risk to your heart or cholesterol and taste the difference. Not to offend the vegetarians out there, but imagine a pan of ribs or pork chops simmering in a Maple Syrup glaze for hours. You should try it is all I’m saying.

A word of warning to all potential consumers of Maple Syrup.

That stuff at the supermarket that says “maple flavoring” don’t buy it! It doesn’t taste good and its relation to Maple Syrup is either nonexistent or it’s partially derived from the end of the season Maple Syrup that comes off very dark and fermented tasting. Some commercial resellers have also been known to water down the available syrup on the supermarket shelf with other ingredients to make it stretch further so they can offer it at a lower price. I highly suggest buying Maple Syrup directly from the source of its creation, but don’t pay an arm and a leg for it. Our prices are fair and if you do your research you’ll see that they are among the lowest out there for 100% Pure Organic Maple Syrup.

More info about Maple Syrup.

If your curious about the complete process that converts maple tree sap with a natural sugar content ranging from 1% to 2% into a finalized product that is 66% natural sugar with a flavor like no other than check out the link above to go to our family farm's website where I have provided a slide presentation that takes you completely through the process of Maple Syrup production on our farm situated in the scenic mountains of Western Maryland.

Enjoy the taste of Spring everyone,

What Kids Need To Read!!!

Let me start this post with a preface about myself. Obviously as suggested by the title of this post it has to do with my opinion about what's appropriate for kids to read(and watch on TV for that matter). I'm not an expert or a child psychologist, but I am a father of three and I was once a kid myself so take what I have to say with some security that I do know a little about the subject at hand. Okay then lets gets started.

My oldest daughter is entering that stage of leaving Cinderella behind to wanting to see that movie on the top shelf that has dinosaurs eating people in a poorly thought out idea of a theme park (Jurassic Park). Take a breath and relax, I'm not letting my almost five going on fifteen daughter watch Jurassic Park yet. I don't need blood curdling screams in the middle of the night to wake up to right now.  While Jurassic Park's off the table for now the Disney movie Dinosaur that features dinosaurs being eaten by dinosaurs has been a fan favorite in my household for going on a year now. Strange isn't it. It would appear then that there are levels to perceivable violence. Dinosaurs eating each other = Wide eyed fascination, but no nightmares. Dinosaurs that don't talk, but only growl and eat people(deservedly or not) = Possible over exposure to violence and nightmare territory. In short I find that one big factor in what my kids both read and watch is based on a somewhat quasi feely interpretation by me and my lovely wife, as to the gradual levels of stepped up violence that are permissible to expose young minds to. Its not easy by any means and me and the wife have differences of opinion all the time about how far to let our oldest daughter venture out of the security of the parent imposed bubble we have her in. I'm not that worried about my second oldest daughter in terms of violence, as her reaction to scary dinosaurs is to growl at them and stalk towards the tv on all fours before she play attacks my leg and mauls away viciously(mostly painless, but teething two year olds are known to bite involuntarily sometimes). I'll illustrate one such disagreement I had with my wife. I'd say my oldest was around three when I as a man of the Christian faith thought to myself that it would be a good idea for her to watch The Chronicles of Narnia and gain a Christian allegorical perspective on the Bible story of Jesus's redemption of us believers in Him by way of a fairy tale like setting. My wife's reaction was no-way! I was surprised, but I respected my wife's opinion and I let a year pass before I let my oldest stay up late to watch Narnia one night. My wife was wise to delay for a later time, as my girl was ready for Narnia now, but it was clear that a boundary had been passed. Disney movies and Veggie Tales got left behind in favor for those nights when our younger daughter was bad and got sent off to bed early. "Please daddy can I watch Narnia?" Sure, was the rote answer. The next adult thing to get issued into my daughter's emerging conscious was the ever familiar National Geographic rentals from the library where the 'lions rip the poor Zebra up ten ways to Sunday, but human poachers are really bad because they kill animals' kind of movies. My wife hates them. She sits there remote in hand to catch and fast forward through that ever popular aspect of nature videos when they feel the need to show one and all how little animal babies get made. My daughter loves them though. Just today she told me that she wants to be an "ologist" (read wildlife biologist). An aspect that I like about the nature videos is that they clearly show how life is uncertain and that its best to live in the moment because soon the herd is going to have migrate northward because of drought, where they'll have to cross this river congested with twenty foot long crocodiles hungry for lunch. In a way I look at it as a mental primer to graduate her into how life for grownups can be a bit like a survival of the fittest or the luckiest as the case may be.

Now I thought I was the one pushing the envelope with exposing my daughter to the more gritty aspects of life until one day my wife floored me. Now I'm a Christian author, but just because I'm that doesn't mean that I have not found entertainment or inspiration from non-Christian sources throughout my life. As a writer of Fantasy environments such as in my Warrior Kind series I've found lots to admire and be inspired by in the works of Tolken and others like Edgar Rice Burroughs. People say the movie was a bomb, but truly I don't know what they were seeing, because for me John Carter of Mars is one of the best movies ever made in my opinion. It's got lots of violent themes and somewhat scantily clad Martian women and so on.  To put an age range on it I would have said that 13 or 15 would have been a good age to introduce such a movie to a child. My oldest sees the cover of the DVD case and sees big monsters and thinks "Cool!" Multiple pleas to watch ensue, but I say no. Wife says, "Why not?" After I pick my jaw off the ground I ask, "You were against Narnia for over a year, but you think this is appropriate? You've got to be kidding!" She shrugs, "There's really nothing scary about it. Let her watch it." I frankly felt myself against it but I trust my wife when she puts herself forward confidently on a matter and so we had movie night with the oldest daughter and she loved the movie and now begs to watch it when second daughter is sent off to bed early or is down for a nap. To tell you the truth I'm confused. Just what is appropriate for kids? I think the answer is one that changes based on the child in question. A bit of a balance act, as daughter two is still hooked on veggie tales, but this amazing emerging person that is my oldest daughter, who is a delight to watch unfold and blossom, as she becomes aware of her reality and makes her unique place in it is asking for a new discovery. My only problem is that it's happening so fast!!!

How do my personal experiences as both a one time child and now father of three carry over into my writing? For instance when would I allow my oldest daughter to read what daddy has been writing all this time? The answer again is probably around 13 or 15, but again am I doing her a favor by trying to protect her from the more violent, real life hardships, and yes sensual elements of my books? I'm beginning to be convinced that the answer is no. Why? Because the world no matter how I try to screen it out of my children's lives finds its way of giving them an education on everything that has gone wrong with society and the world point of focus in general. By the time that I hold back from advancing my daughter's understanding(till she's 13-15) of reading a world view through the Christian influenced and guided words of her father she will already have gained a vast and vividly real array of perceptions about everything thanks to the fast moving digital age of communication we find ourselves caught up in. I think the battle ground to influence children for the better aspects of how to approach life and the living of it is increasingly being focused more and more into how you influence them when they are yet very young. You can either step back and cover your eyes and assume your sweet daughter will remain sweet despite all the distractions pulling her down rabbit trails left and right or you can take the tumultuous ride that rearing a child in this world is and firmly put your imprint into what she sees and what your opinion is on it all, while she still cares what your opinion on any matter of importance is. So I'll probably let her read my books, when she can pull one off the shelf and read all the big words with comprehension. Some may say that I'm stealing her youth by allowing her to experience to much to early, but my answer to that is better the occurrence of that than the hijack of my daughter later on by worldly and evil inspired forces, when her body is hot wired and out of balance because of hormones and the incessant add campaign to sexualize the youth and the associated enabling practices of the powers that be to cause the youth of the world to rebel and never learn the value or hard work or being content with such as one has been given from above by an all knowing and compassionate Creator. What I have seen so far with my daughter, who hasn't quite turned five yet is that she's pushing for more. She wants to learn. Her desire isn't going to say, "I think I'll take a break for seven years and revisit this passion to learn what happens next". The time is now and while it seems so fast to me, even faster than my own progression as a child was, I have to in some way honor it and facilitate it, even as I trust my Creator to let me know when to much is to much. I know as a boy that my imagination needed a creative framework to grow and expand. Fortunately I found books, good books to sink my consciousness into. That isn't the case now. Add three or four years to my daughter and I'm sure you'll find girls her age reading about vampires and twisted romances. I'd rather my daughter read my Christian inspired fiction and see what the definition of a wholesome love relationship looks like, which reflects the way her parents are with each other. She'll read about violence and real world issues and what to look for in a mate probably earlier than many preceding generations have, but it's going to happen so why not mentor her progress down the path I've already hammered out then leave her to the pitfalls of the world's ills and baseless pursuits for self gratification. I think there's this mindset in the mind of so many parents that, "She's four-five, I don't have to worry about anything right now." I think its the early beginning that we should worry about the most! When she's thirteen or fifteen it will be to late to change the mind sets that have set in that I have allowed to occur by not actively taking a part in her developing years to that point, by allowing her to be babysat by a liberal Hollywood inspired agenda to turn your sweet girl into a being that is diametrically opposed to you on every issue by the time she's thirteen. While I wasn't the rebel child myself I fully can attest to the secret life that a child enacts, as they keep their learning process and progress into the big concepts that make up life away from their parents. The thought arises that they(parents) really don't know or they just wouldn't understand, because they(parents) still think I'm back at letter C of development, when I'm already up to letter Q and am actively learning and seeking to find out the rest, which means I don't really care what sources I learn from in my pursuit to learn just so long as I learn, when in reality all I've done is to exclude the very people from the learning/experience process that could have helped me the most, my parents. Don't be that parent! I grew up as child that had my own double life and the face that I presented to my parents to allay the fears that their could be anything up with me that wasn't strictly above board. It's called deception and it finds it author in satan, the god of this world. He hungers for our children! All you parents out there hear this, satan is going to hit them(your children) as early and as often as he can. He doesn't respect innocence, but rather he is committed to the task of stealing it. He doesn't need to hook them on drugs or cause them to fail in school. All he has to do is get them lost in confusion of thought and caught up in the feeling that their alone in their discovery of the world. I encourage parents everywhere to actively involve yourselves in the lives of your children and let them be your guide as to how much discovery should occur. Discovery will happen one way or the other, but I choose to be at the forefront of the chartered journey, as I instill my grownup trial and error won advice to the process of discovery, but yes I wish it wasn't happening so fast and that my first born wasn't so far along the way to discovering life in all of its glories and lurking horrors. I love her though so I'm committed to helping her get it right, when the day comes for her to make her choice and praise be to God my job just got a lot easier because just about a week ago my daughter who was listening to mommy and daddy talking about grown up stuff like demons and endtime events as they relate to the Bible and the plot outline of daddy's next book decided that it was time that she excepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. It's never to early to talk about the big things. I thought my daughter would come to a saving relationship with Jesus when she was thirteen or so, but earlier than that is so much better! Some things can't happen fast enough!

The important messages within my writing

Hi there!

Time to break in the new year with a new blog entry. Today I've decided to write a little about the "messages" that can be found throughout the body of my writing. What do I mean by that term "messages"? Well in addition to writing stories that are full of romance, intrigue and lots of action I also want them to be meaningful in terms of helping others to live life better or perhaps find out a new truth of life. As an author, who writes from a Christian's perspective my role, as I see it, isn't to bash anyone over the head with a Bible or a bunch of rules. I never want my writing to come across as preachy, instead I hope that its read for the genuine belief that I have in my Creator and my desire to worship and serve Him with both the work of my hands and the creations of my mind. To that end I've written stories that always have some Christian perspective to them. Whether its from the viewpoint of someone who is already a Christian and is fighting the good fight to someone who isn't and is either looking for something more or actively running from a relationship with God. My inclusion of a faith aspect of some kind throughout my literary work I would say is my most prevalent form of messaging. My goal is to inspire those already in a faith walk with Jesus as much as it is a tool that I hope will lead some who don't believe to a saving relationship with Jesus. Achieving either objective would be great, but to achieve the latter would be truly life fulfilling for me and is something I pray towards all the time. Okay okay so I'm getting a little preachy. So what other "messages" do my writings contain?

In a few days I will be releasing A Warrior's Revenge, the fifth and last book of The Warrior Kind series. Perhaps you've seen the book cover for it, but if you hadn't here it is.

A Warrior's Revenge WEBSITE USE.jpg

Well what do you notice about it? Hmmm.......let's see.......We've got a big black dude and a white girl. Thankfully this is becoming less of an issue for people all the time, but for some confused individuals on both sides of the color divide such a cover is the height of insult. I said "confused individuals" because that's what I believe they are, because a clear look at the facts and God's love show clearly that there should be no man made barriers between different ethnicites of humanity. Notice I say "ethnicity" instead of "race". There is a very important reason for this, because while there are different ethnicities upon the face of this planet there is only one race that can be called human. Throughout my writing I fight this supposed taboo in the minds of some of "interracial marriage". In the beginning God made one man and one woman and they were one flesh. From these two people all of us came. Everyone. By recent ancestry I've got some German, Irish, British, and who knows what else, but at some point my primary ancestor started out in Eve's womb. The black man on the cover of this book has a different recent path of ancestry than mine, but the same origin that I do that ties back to Eve's  womb. This can be proven by the way. The genetic difference between me and this man is .002. That's 2% of 1 one thousandths of 1%. It's not very much is it. In fact the genetic difference between me and my son is the same, .002. What does this prove? Well for one we are all of one race. Outward differences may abound, but that's where it stops and where I say the division should stop along with it. I may offend some, but I hope that I change some from the narrow mindset that the color of one's skin should be a divide of some kind. I place no such marriage restrictions on my children and I hope you won't on yours.

I have many messages that I could write about further in great detail, but I've decided to tie this blog post up with this last message to be found in my writing. I consider Homosexuality a sin. My reasons for doing so are because the Bible says so. The Bible doesn't infer it, but it states so. Don't believe me well look it up for yourself: Leviticus 18:22, 20:13, Romans 1:18-32, I Corinthians 6:9-11, I Timothy 1:9-11.

Call me judgmental, label my writing as hate speech I don't care, but what I will not do is compromise on what the word of God says in regards to this sin or any other sin. I will not add or subtract from what the Word of God says. If the reader of my words is offended at my stance in opposition to homosexuality then it is to say that you are offended at God Himself, because the words of God that I believe and take by faith were not written by me, but rather by the Holy Spirit. I expect I will offend many with my unwillingness to bend in my acceptance of acts that God has termed an abomination, so be it. Such is the path of a Christian in a fallen world in search of the eternity to come forever in the presence of my Creator. As Christians we should serve God rather than the cares of man. While I try to get along with all mankind in peaceableness I will not forsake my faith for any man and all who come against me face not my weak hands, but rather the Creator of all life in whom my soul is forever entrusted to. Expect to see romantic relationships between one girl and one boy in all of my stories and nothing but.

As I said there are other messages in my writing, and through the joy of reading my words I'm sure that you and yours will find them. I think the best kind of story is one that has the power to shape and direct you into a positive direction, which is why I endeavor to read a few pages out of my Bible everyday. I recommend it to you sincerely as the best overall wellness aid you could ever find or buy.

Have a Blessed Day Everyone,

Author's Checklist: Free Self-Promotion Tips

The following checklist is a list of free self-promotional aids that I have found helpful and that I'd like to share with my fellow authors, if you haven't already discovered them and put them to good use. It's hard to get noticed, as a new author on the big literary scene, but if you can get the exposure you need for free what could be better? Paid promotions are great, but if your wallet's on the thin side, some of these free tips could be perfect for you. They have been for me.

#1 List your book at the major sellers of ebooks: Amazon, Barns&Noble, and Smashwords. Smashwords distribution can get you Kobo, Sony, Apple, and others. Formatting hassles abound, but it's all free and it gives you credibility as an author.

#2 Join Goodreads and manually add your books to their database, if their not already there.

#3 Join some groups at Goodreads, and where appropriate post about your books or dazzle people with your witty and sage advice. (I'm still working on that one)

#4 This is perhaps the biggest self promotional aid that you can do for free. Give away one of your book(s) for free. Places where you can do this are listed below in no particular order.

- www.free-ebooks.net , Agent with a History has over a thousand downloads in roughly a month's time. A Warrior's Redemption is pushing five hundred. They even have a donate button next to your book for generous readers, who'd like to reward you via PayPal. They offer promotions incessantly, but you don't have to take them.

- www.publicbookshelf.com , A great place to list free books, if your books are on the romantic side of things, as mine are. You can get great feedback from readers and I've found that it really drives traffic to my website.

- www.smashwords.com , If your an author like me that didn't want to be limited by Amazon's KDP Select program then you've realized that you can't go below $.99 for a promotional book price. Smashwords lets you give books away for free though. Yes you undercut your sales on Amazon, but your getting far wider exposure, which means more people willing to buy your other books that aren't free or reduced in price.

- www.gutenberg.org , Project Gutenberg is a good place to list books for free.

- www.free-online-novels.com , A good place to list, especially for Christian authors.

- www.totallyfreestuff.com , A place to list free stuff including books.

- www.goodreads.com , In addition to the other features that Goodreads offers, you can upload your entire novel and make it all available for free reading or just an extended excerpt.

- www.bookdaily.com ,  You can't list the entire free book, just a chapter. The site links directly to your Amazon book page.

#5 www.storybundle.com , This self-promotional aid hasn't been approved for takeoff by me yet, but I have high hopes that one or both of my book entries will be approved. The way it works is that your book gets bundled with other like books into a bundle that is bid on for a set period of time. Your free giveaway book might actually yet make you some money, while gaining you the exposure you need. I'm certainly hoping so.

#6 If your books have awesome cover art, then place them in lists like Goodread's Listopia. Example: If your book cover has a lot of of blue on it type in "blue book cover" you'll find lots of lists to post your beautiful cover art in. A picture after all is worth  a thousand words. The cover art wasn't free, unless you did it yourself, but you just might gain a fan of the art of your book cover that wants to read what's under the cover.

#7 Contribute non-book related advice or insight on a non-literary affiliated website. Make sure that your profile or comment signature has links to your website or free book downloads and the fact that your an author, in case people impressed with what and how you've said something want to read more of what you've written.

#8 Offer a special promotion and post it wherever possible, especially on your website or blog. Case in point I have Special Promotion #2, where interested readers of my fiction can get the next book of the series free, at present, in exchange for an honest book review placed on Amazon, Barn's&Noble, Smashwords, and Goodreads.

#9 This one is common, but in case you missed it, change your email signature to reflect your status as an author, as well as built in links to your website and free book downloads. If you'd like to see what mine looks like post an honest review of one of my free books and I'll send you the next book of the series free with my signature attached.

#10 Visit blogs that do free indie book spotlights and post your books, such as the following: www.christianfictionebooks.blogspot.com . Such blogs(free) are hard to find, but they do exist.

#11 Offer to do honest book reviews for other authors and post the reviews on your own website, as well as offsite. A great place to get hooked up with getting into the review business is the following: www.theindieview.com . As a new author just getting into the business I have to say that it's hard to get a quality review placed where you want it so why not treat some other author embroiled in the same struggle the way that you would like to be treated yourself. Other positives for you other than hopefully having something good to read are that you build your brand and you drive traffic to your website and gain increased exposure because of it.

#12 And last, but not least continue to send out endless Book Review Request queries in the hope that one in fifty might land you a review that will help ease the mind of the potential buyer and sell you more books. It's brutal, but it's free.

That does it for my free self-promotional tips. There are twelve of them and it looks like we're about to embark on the twelve days of Christmas. How about that for a neat feat of timing. Merry Christmas everyone and may we all sell and buy many new books in the New Year!

P.S. If anybody has any free book promotional ideas of their own, by all means post them in the comments! I know I'm always ready to learn something new and a better way to promote myself as an author.

Best Regards,

Guy III

A Special Promotion going on now

Hi everyone,

I've got a Special Promotion going on that I'd like everyone to share in while it lasts. The following is copied over from my Special Promotions page. Enjoy!

2# SPECIAL PROMOTION: I'm relatively new to the self publishing world and admittedly it can be something of a fight to get noticed by a dedicated readership. One way to get the attention of a lot of people is to give stuff away for free. I've done that with both A Warrior's Redemption and Agent with a History. The free giveaways don't stop there though. I need honest book reviews placed on the premier distribution channels that I have selected to disperse my literary fiction ( Amazon, Barns&Noble, and Smashwords). To that end I am willing to provide all of my books for free to the discerning reader in return for honest reviews placed on some or all of the aforementioned distribution channels. How does this free giveaway work? First: You download either A Warrior's Redemption or Agent with a History or both for that matter. You read them and if your still interested in my writing leave me an honest review on the aforementioned sites (Amazon, etc.). Secondly: Contact me at guysactionwords(at)gmail(dot)com . Make sure that in the subject line you have the following: Proof of Review - Your First Name (or online name). In this email to me make sure to copy and paste the review that you gave me for the book you read and I will in return send you the next book in that series free of charge. Thirdly: If you read and review the second book of the series and give me evidence of it via email as before I will again send you the next book of the series and so on and so on. I can send my "free for the purpose of honest review books" to you in the following formats: epub (nook), mobi (kindle), and pdf. This free promotion of the entire body of my work will continue till I feel that I have attained the level of quality honest reviews needed to present my body of literary work in a big way to the world at large. I may end this promotion at any time so don't delay in getting all the books you can read for free. Let the reviews begin and the pages turn in passioned fervor to see what comes next.

P.S. Even though A Warrior's Redemption and Agent with a History are free on this site a credit card number is required by my third party payment processor (Stripe). If you would like to bypass this hurdle in order to read both books for free then head over to smashwords.com where both books can be downloaded in their entirety for free in a variety of formats, without the use of a credit card. My payment process is secure, but I don't blame anyone for being overly suspicious in this day and age of online credit fraud.

Best Regards,

Guy III

I want to write....sigh...back to editing....sigh

The joys of being a writer are many, but invariably one must edit what one has written so the greater masses (notably my wife) can see what has been created. I think it was Stephen King that said something along the lines of, 'to write is fine, but to edit is divine'. I couldn't disagree more. Well perhaps I could take that back and go half way with him. The first edit through a book is good, because there are plots and scenes that needed added to or added all together, so in a way that first edit can be creative and not so boring. The second time through......the third time through.....darn should that comma be there or maybe I should put in a semicolon. Sigh......only three hundred and seventy pages to go. Incidentally has anyone ever noticed how pathetic Microsoft Word's spell checker is. So I have a word in mind and I spit it out in the garbled rendition of how I think it should be spelled and then wait for the little red squiggly line so I can click on it and pick the correct spelling of the word. Well it turns out that, for me anyway, that eight times out of ten the only solution is to spell the word correctly the first time, because the spellchecker can't come up with beans in terms of a right answer! Very annoying. Turns out if I don't know how to spell a word chances are neither does Word. Not bragging on my part just a statement by me that if I could spell the word I wanted, to just being off by one letter or two, then I wouldn't need spell checker in the first place. I will admit to hitting the ignore spelling option on a few occasions. That may sound bad, but consider this, the way some words are said in context in a sentence add a 'less' or 'able' or 'ingly' to it, which spellchecker will tell me that I'm wrong by doing so, but it reads better my way. Time for creative license and a click of the old ignore option, my apologies to any of those out there who get offended if a word ain't the way its listed in the dictionary.

So as I'm bogged down in editing with six books on the market at present I thought I'd give you all a little heads up as to what is to come from the creative labyrinth of my daily thoughts. I have "A Warrior's Revenge" to edit to complete out the The Warrior Kind series, however I've postponed editing that for now in favor of editing the third book of The Agency for Good series, "Agent out of Time". I want to get more of those books out for everyone to enjoy. Once Agent out of Time is out I think I'll edit A Warrior's Revenge, before completing the rest of the Agency for Good books.

Further out than the completion of my first two series I'm glad to inform you that one book is written and another book is halfway completed of a third series that I have titled "Water Wars" at present. It is a short series at just two books. I consider both of these books to be my crowning achievements to date in terms of stretching the imagination and rolling back the borders of the known reality. Need more of a teaser? Well your not getting one (yet), you'll just have to wait and pray that I get my editing done faster than it's currently going. I'm going to tentatively put a release date for the first book sometime in February or possibly March.

Even further out. I have lots of ideas that are begging to make their way out onto paper, than computer code, then endless rounds of editing dictated over by my pretty wife and her red pen (it's orange actually). But some ideas are these. I'm planning on an extensive Ice Age/Prehistoric series that will kick off it's journey at the tower of Babel just after the Geneses Flood time period. It will make its way down through one families quest for survival as they drift their separate ways out across the world encountering all sorts of things such as giants, dinosaurs, extreme weather, and packs of saber tooth tigers and dare wolves. It's going to be great! Sigh.....more editing to do yet though. I have a standalone book idea that will open some eyes into my opinions on a lot of what is happening around us in the world, as to who is pulling the strings and for what purpose, but never fear God is still in control. I have an idea for a possible series or perhaps just one really big book that will be reminiscent of A Warrior's Redemption in some ways. Less technology and more focus on it being written in an allegorical sense with parallels gathered from both the Old and New Testaments. Possible title to it might be, "The Sand Kings". Itching to write this one. I almost wrote it before Water Wars, but I pulled it back at the last moment. At some point I'm planning on writing some westerns. I know a lot of people have a bad taste in their mouth when a western is mentioned, but as a boy I credit the work of Louis L'Amour as an inspiration in a lot of ways for both the man and writer that I have become today. There's a lot to be learned and enjoyed by reading a good western and that's what I intend to write at some point. Let's see that's about it for now I think.... Oh wait there is that far out Science Fiction styled series called: The Ice Guardians. A series I might add that could possibly tie in with the distant future of my Warrior Kind series. Food for thought anyway still subject to change. I have to write this series though just because I have this name stuck in my head that I can't get rid of: The Ice Worlds of Cirrillion Tegas. I have to right this Ice Guardian series just because I know the names of the fictitious planet system, such is the mind of this writer and avid daydreamer. Want to hear the Title and mini blurb of the first book? Sure you do, it goes something like this: Ice Queen. Alone she walks the barren ice fields and the evergreen wood. Blind as a child she is feared by all. She is the Ice Queen. One who walks in the dark so others don't have to..............I really should get back to editing now.

I just wanna write! Enough editing already!!!

I just wanna write! Enough editing already!!!

"Agent with a History", was a dream come to fruition

Agent with a History is undoubtedly a favorite. The problem for me is that all my books have at least some part of them that is my favorite. Admittedly I'm somewhat biased being the author, but this I can say, Agent with a History is my wife's favorite. My wife is amazing. Beyond amazing really. We've been through a lot already as a young married couple and yet I know she has my back and I trust her with everything. She makes our family work. I have a tendency sometimes to just zone out, when I'm focused on something. It's a bad habit. I zone out to the point sometimes that I forget to live life. My wife's the one that pulls me out of my shell and introduces me to new situations and chances to experience life more fully. In short, with her by my side, life is a fuller much richer experience than if it was just me on my own. We've seen each other at our worst and yet we're eager to continue experiencing what each of us has to offer. We love each other, but perhaps more importantly we like each other at the core of things. You can love someone you don't like, but you'd better marry someone you like, as well as love! Its tough to always sort out those deeper connections, in the first infatuation of love, which is how, for me, my initial dating experience with my wife was simply perfect. I met my wife on eharmony. I signed up to eharmony not sure what to expect. I filled out the lengthy paperwork, which amounts to your basic psych analysis. I answered everything truthfully and it turned out that I was a highly matchable person. I got ten plus matches delivered to my inbox every day. It was a bit daunting to face every day. Ten women to wade through. There's this basic information page that's initially displayed that gives you stuff like, "What's your most cherished childhood memory?" or "What's your idea of a good date?" and etc. One thing that was on the initial sheet was a list of the five most important things to you in life. Believe it or not I disqualified most women based solely off those five things they listed as their priorities. I'm sorry, but when a woman puts down on her list of her five biggest priorities in life, that brushing her teeth three times a day or that she's a vegetarian, is an up-most priority, it sends out an all signals alarm beacon that reads, "STAY AWAY!" No offense meant against vegetarians, but I think you can agree that it shouldn't be one of your foremost priorities. There was another way to weed the daily role call of women out, which I confess may reflect badly on me, but hey I'm a guy(no pun intended). Every match came with a picture. If she wasn't the perfection of "it" in the picture, well she just wasn't it. A month went by and one of those annoying matches came up. The match didn't have a photo attached to it. I dug down deep and persevered in communication with the woman, in an effort to show that I could be objective past just the lust of the physical. Turns out she had really good priorities and her answers to my questions were the best I'd had from anyone. I started sweating, the deeper communication went. What if I didn't like what lay behind the curtain? I totally liked and looked forward everyday to her words, but what did she look like? Communication went deeper and deeper and then the time came for the phone call. I was beyond nervous. I'd gone to personal communication levels with this woman that I'd never experienced with anyone before and I wanted the rest of my life to be spent with her and yet I'd never seen her, but I felt like I knew her as well as the back of my hand. The phone rang and a conversation that lasted seven hours took place. Mind you I doubt I'd ever talked on a phone with anyone for over twenty minutes before in my life. I'm not sure what we talked about, but seven hours went by. One thing that came out of the conversation was that she was going away on a cruise to the Caribbean for a few days so she would be out of communication with me for about a week. I almost panicked. I thought I was going to lose her. A week passed with no communication. She uploaded pictures. Walking along the beach in the surf pictures! Holy Jackpot! She's hot!!!!!!! This is perfect, she's perfect, and the rest is history as they say. She moved halfway across the country just to date me in person and relocated for good, when my ring slid onto her finger. She's the love of my life emotionally and passionately. It's this love for my wife that comes out in all the love relationships that I write about in my books. There are elements of both me and my wife in all the love relationships I write about. I love my wife so much, but if I can council any of the men out there with a little bit of wisdom it would be this. Looking for beauty on the surface should be the second priority, look at what's inside first. It's the beauty that's within that will put up with you, when your at your worst and don't deserve any respect for your actions. I've won the lottery in life and I'm a very blessed and humbled man for it. Beth's been with me through everything and she's Firstmate for the rest of the journey that I Captain along. She's been my support every step of this road to becoming self published. She's the positive word that pierced the apathy of my emotions at times and the encouragement that helped me keep trying harder than ever before. She edits every book I write and trust me my books are better for it! She's my number one fan. I love it and seek her approval above all others. If you read my books you'll see how the love relationships that play out in my books for the best are only an echo of the love relationship that echoes loudly ever day of my life, that I'm blessed to share with my lovely wife. Agent with a History is my wife's favorite, as I already mentioned, but it was a plea in the night that brought it about. I'd been writing for a while, as I made my way through The Warrior Kind series. I was on the last book of it, A Warrior's Revenge and I was panicking. I had no new inspiration. No new idea to write about, when I was done with the last book of my first series. I begged God one night for new inspiration, as I told Him how much I wanted to keep writing, but that I needed His help. I went to bed and fell asleep. Most of the core plot line for a Agent with a History came to me in a dream and when I woke up I remembered all of it, which is unusual for me. I haven't looked back since, but I'm still praying for inspiration. Currently I have six books out for everyone to read, but rest assured there are many to soon follow. I have six more books already written that simply need time for me and my wife to edit before they are made available and I'm finishing up a thirteenth book that is the second book of a third short series that I've written. I have several series and stand alone books planned after that. All I need is time to write and edit. With my beautiful wife alongside of me with her red edit pen at the ready, I'm sure I'll have new books uploaded in no time. Enjoy Agent with a History. I know I did.

One day I thought it would be cool to write something exciting. Something that hadn't been made into a movie yet. The desire to write started early, but manifested itself early on in the form of reading. Growing up I was quite the bookworm. One summer especially it seemed that I read everything I could get my hands on. I was so desperate that I even borrowed my sisters Jane Austin books and read them. That's right I read Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Mansfield Park, Sense and Sensibility and so on. Hey it was a boring summer and other than being a bit dry they weren't to bad. My favorite reading choice, even to this day, is Louis L'Maour and his boat load of westerns. I confess that I own all eighty some novels and that some of them have been read through five or six times. I started reading his books at a very formative age of my life. I credit him a lot with giving me the role model of what a man should be. My father has never really been around in my life being himself a workaholic and so I needed that masculine model that Louis L'Maour provided in his strong, quiet, but respectful book heroes. I identified a lot with his book characters and I emulated them in a way. It wasn't till later that I really got interested in the role models that the Bible has to offer. One Bible character in specific has always leaped out to me and been someone that I have always wished I could be in life and that person was Caleb. Caleb was one of the forty spies that went into the promise land to spy it out with Joshua. He along with Joshua were the only ones that were ready to march in and conqueror the giants and the peoples of the land. They had faith that God was for them and would deliver the enemy into their hand. For being just a background character there is a lot written about Caleb here and their throughout the old testament, but I guess the most impressive thing about Caleb that I seek to emulate was, that he was on fire for God all his life. He didn't slack off in his faith. He never said never, as he believed God was able to accomplish anything. That's how I want to be and am. Yes I have weak moments, but I've found that weakness is where God's strength becomes manifest in my life. When I can't do something, He shows me that He can. No one is perfect left to their own devices, only Jesus can claim that, but that doesn't mean we aren't to try to attain that perfection so I keep trying as I'm enabled by Divine grace to do what I could never do on my own. Well that's me in a nutshell, but I'm diverting from the original theme of the title, how I started writing. Well in a way you have to be exposed to life before you can write about it and that's what I experienced. Experience isn't all one needs to write though, not for me anyway. I needed Divine providence to start out and then Divinely given strength and inspiration to continue. I still need it.

Life got really busy in college along with my work that followed. Life got really hard too. Adversity can cause all sorts of things to happen. Some of them can be positive, if you let them be. I met my lovely wife and got married within a year. At that moment in time I thought I had finally emerged in life. This was it and I was ready to seize the day and live it to the fullest. It didn't happen like that though. Life got harder than ever before, just when I thought I'd reached easy street. A month after I got married I got laid off and my wife miscarried a baby that neither of us had been expecting or to my everlasting shame wanted. We were young and while we wanted a family we wanted to have each other for a while and make all that money that two working adults can. We had big dreams and a baby wasn't going to let us have them, but when you lose a baby everything changes, especially with a thought process like the one we had. When that baby was gone there wasn't anything we wanted more in the world than that baby, whether we could have afforded it or not. Three children later I can say that with each one of them that we couldn't afford to have any of them and yet we've had enough. Perhaps not much, but enough. People reading this, who have a relationship with their Savior, can attest to what I'm saying. There are those times when you add up all the bills and you write all the checks out and you buy enough food to last a week, enough gas to drive to a job that doesn't provide enough, but wait.........there's still money in the account! Where did it come from? You check the account to see where it came from and no matter how hard you look, you end up with more than the checkbook says you should. Welcome to heavenly provision pressed down from above. My writing has been a heavenly provision, just as food and the strength to keep breathing every day is a Divine provision. In that hard time I started to write. I had to do something to escape the often depressing reality of my life. At first they were just short stories to my wife and then one day I started something bigger, A Warrior's Redemption. That was five years ago. I wrote about forty pages before I stopped, with the note to write more when I had the time. The convenient time to write never came and two hard years went by before I began to write again. I was going to write something else, but something said that I should finish what I started. I started writing. I wasn't a good writer and I knew it. I had the thought at the time that I just needed to keep writing and one day, when I was better than I could come back and fix it. A Warrior's Redemption has been re-edited so many times that I've lost count. It may be the biggest book I ever write at 130,000 words, but it was a labor of love requiring a lot of perseverance. One thing led to another and I kept writing and writing and writing. Turns out that if you dream about writing, write all day, and then think about writing some more, then maybe its a sign that if you haven't gotten sick of it by now then maybe your a writer at heart. I traded a job in my profession which I drove nearly an hour and a half to each day, for a job out of my profession that was a lot closer and paid significantly more than what my college degree had gotten me. What was the job? A rock truck driver on a strip mine for coal. It was humbling. At some points in life you might be tempted to say that certain periods of your life were a complete waist of time and money, such as going to college for me, but don't! You learn a lot and become who you are, when you seemingly live through a period of wasted time. No time is wasted unless you let it be. A saying that I heard once that's helped me keep going is, 'Failure is only feedback, unless you let it become an end result'.

So driving a rock truck is about the most boring job on the planet. It's also one of the most dangerous depending on who you have to work with and what the job conditions are. A boring, sometimes scary job that pays a lot. Who knew right? Why don't they tell you this before you go to college? Anyway, there I was sitting in the cab of a truck that was  five years older than I was, with all the abuse to prove it, for ten hours a day. I went nuts with boredom. One can only listen to so much radio before one goes completely bonkers and is ready to pound the radio into a piece of scrap metal. I was so worked up about the stress of going to work six days a week and being on a constant adrenaline high of watching the berm behind my back tires fall away with the prospect of plunging over backward off the dump pad, to the days when the dust got so thick that it seeped through every crack in the cab of the truck to form a visible smog that you could feel yourself die a little more with each breath you took in, as the dust coated my lungs. Both of those pail in comparison to the experience of driving down a haul road in the winter that's ice covered, in an 85ton rock truck that doesn't even have dual posit traction. You slide, you get stuck, you almost roll over, etc. Those stresses of the job were bad enough, but the boredom was the killer. My family had never had it better. There was more food and available luxuries than ever before, but I had to struggle to face each day of waking up at 4:30 am for another day at the pit. I felt like I was throwing my life away and trust me all kinds of negative thoughts can arise. I'm pretty manly as they come, but I'd come home some days crying. It was bad and I needed a way out. I'd been trying to write, in my few free hours of time at home, but it was more frustrating than anything. Finally I got the idea to write at work, but I thought it was an impossible endeavor. I prayed about it though and I asked for God's blessing and gave it a try. Divine ability and favor followed. It takes about one to two minutes to load a rock truck. The drive to the dump pad and then back to be loaded again can be anywhere from a few minutes to over ten minutes. In that plus or minus two minutes, while I was getting loaded, I wrote. I wrote during my nine o'clock break. I wrote for half of my lunch break, before I called and talked to my wife for the last half of my lunch break. Writing at work changed everything. I lost myself in the worlds and settings that I created on the fly so to speak, which I credit God for the inspiration of. Ten hour work days seemed to fly by and there were days that I regretted that the work day was over so soon, because I hadn't been able to complete my scene of thought yet down on paper. On an average day, in the brief segments of time that I had to write in, I churned out give or take about 2,000 words a day. In two years I wrote and completed twelve books and I'm working on the thirteenth at present. Talk about Divine providence! God doesn't always answer our prayers in the way that we would like Him to, but what's important is to follow the way that He leads you to go, even when it doesn't make sense or you think that He must hate you in order to expose you to so much misery on a daily basis, with seemingly no earthly security that comes of your sacrifice. That's the point. Stop depending on what you can do and simply let your Creator lead you into whatever adventure He has prepared for you. I desperately wanted and prayed for a better job, instead God gave me a way to keep the job that I had. I accepted it and thanked Him for the gift of writing that enabled me to keep my head in the game and keep providing for my family, when I had been on the verge of disappointing them by quitting. Funny thing is though that God answered my prayer after all. I learned to write and now I'm a writer. It's the best job that I've ever had and one that I would never have dreamed could have occurred to the degree that it has. I love my job! Good things can come out of adversity and the dedication to be faithful no matter what. I challenge you to let God write your own story and see where it leads. Guy III

Where it all began............

I was born. No kidding. Actually it began before then. My parents were done having children, but an evangelist came to town and stayed over at my parent's home. He looked around the table and said, "What no son? There will be a son in this house." My mother was not happy, but I was born anyway. She and I became best friends and she reversed her earlier opinion of not wanting me, to one of the best occurrences ever in her life. I lost her in my teenage years to cancer. You could say it was my first experience with heartbreak. I think as an author one has to write out of what one has experienced in life. In fact I'd say you can't avoid it just the same as you are what you eat. One's writing is shaped by what one has experienced and what one still wants to experience. If that's the case then I've had a very eclectic background, as my range of writing topics is ever broadening and diverse. While my writing spans many topics of interest and exotic setting locales, in a way I've never left the farm. I was born on one and if I have my way I'll always be on one. I thank God for being born into the family and place that I was as many are not so fortunate. But just as I've been blessed with a better start than many I feel that it's important to capitalize on that and help others. I write about many things I have never experienced, with the goal of helping those who have. How do I do that? One of the greatest gifts endowed to me by my Creator was the gift of empathy. Empathy is the ability to put yourself in someone else's shoes so to speak. To allow your emotions to build the picture of their three dimensional lives in an effort to better understand what's going on and better yet what's to be learned from it. It can be rough, but very rewarding at the same time. I hope to help many people with elements to be found in my writing as I seek to entertain them and at the same time  lift away the veil of depression that can often settle over our individual lives when we look no further than ourselves. There's a bigger picture of things going on out there in the world and I have made the decision to involve myself in them through the power of the pen. At times I wish I had been born in the era of when the sword was the weapon of the day so that I might wield it in battle, but to wish so on my part is to deny the Divine placement by God of all things and people in the seasons that best suit them. So instead of the clang of sword blades together as sparks fly I click the end of my pen down and start filling yet another journal with a story that I see as the ink meets the paper. I've found my calling in life and I'm pursuing it with all my heart, all my mind and with all my strength. I encourage everyone to reach that point of contact with reality in fast forward and can I say that it starts with the little things. Don't forget to pray. Don't refrain from doing the right thing when you think no one is looking or that no one cares. Keep faith in the small things and you might find out what a wild ride it is to be taken deeper into the meaning behind all life by a loving Creator that is longing to unlock deeper understanding to those who earnestly ask and seek for it. Once you're going deeper on your own journey if there's any advice that I could give you it would be, "Don't stop!" Keep writing your story out better than it was the day before, because there is a God in heaven that wants to read ever part of the journey, from focused on self, to focused on Him. Glory to God it's good to be alive and writing, but the next step of when reality meets eternal destination........now that's where it all really begins.  Guy III
